    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

If that's all of the PM's, I think the 'you were rude to me' thing was a bit overboard. You led her on more than once, and are now playing for sympathy. She was far from rude. You make this right, Broderick, or you're no better than Chad (or any other scammer).

I know this may not helpmy situation any more but in my my family always comes first and I am trying my best to be here for him,my mom, and grandma the most right now. Im sorry Tara the internet has been out at my house and I tried logging in thru my phone but it would not let me see my messages. Broderick,

Part of inheriting a collection/business/etc. with a bad name previously attached to it is spending some time bending over backwards for potential new customers to get your name severed from the ex owner's.

A good response to her message of "just keep it," where she was very obviously frustrated with your friend screwing her over followed by your lack of communication followed by excuses? A very sincere apology, without any further excuses, and asking her if she could give you a date when you could get the gecko shipped to her. If she said "just keep it" a second time, you could have just apologized one more time and posted in the thread that you wanted to make good but she refused.

No "hate" here, no crap-talking, it's just advice that I hope will come in handy in the future.
 
What kind of phone do you have that you can surf the net yet not look at emails? My Iphone does, as did my old phone which was just a texting phone, as did my old flip phone from eons ago. Now a days phones can support most online websites like fauna to open up their emails. Just curious do you either have he worlds worst phone, or are you someone with a 6 y/o+ phone?

Just a little tip for you, Broderick...Gecko breeders are a tight-knit group, and we go to MANY sites to sell...so we know who to look out for.

You might want to get yourself a trench coat and try selling those geckos on the corner of your street.

You'll have better luck there.

As far as dropping this subject, it will be dropped and allowed to fade into obscurity WHEN we hear that Tara has received the right gecko, in TOP CONDITION, although I think you've pretty much killed your reputation, name and any chance of doing business with 99% of the readers of this thread, just because you have an attitude. So, basically, YOU will fade into obscurity, too, until you're no more than a bad memory.

As I said above, we're a tight-knit group, and we watch out for each other. Which means we get the word out about bad deals and we come to each other's aid when we're needed.

We're funny that way.

PS-Hooked On Phonics can help with your spelling/grammar problem.

Broderick,

This only highlights a lack of maturity and cool-headedness that will get you far in not only the reptile trade, but in many other avenues. If someone says something that upsets you, prove them wrong. Empty verbal claims and defensiveness account for little.

It usually pays off to befriend people with big reputations instead of pissing them off. People know Donna, people also know Tara, and Ansli. They have been clear-headed, respectful people in the hobby. The more you choose to bicker with them, the more it says about you.
 
I'm not defending the guy but are the jibes about grammar/spelling really necessary? In a situation like this if you want your friend to be helped it might be most helpful not to take jabs at things that really do not matter because all it's going to do is get the guy riled. Who does that help?

I'm trying to keep tabs on what is going on here so the mods on the other forum can make a decision, and wading through all of the petty stuff gets old.

Tara if you could send me a PM if/when you get the gecko I would appreciate it.
