    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Just because something isn't uncommon doesn't make it acceptable. IF he said he sent money even though he didn't that would make him a bad guy to me, at least in this instance.:shrug01:
 
Not to mention the possibility of losing a sale.
I am NOT saying it happened this time but, ......what if an ad was pulled? Or something went marked as sold? OR someone had their eye on "said animal" and then moved onto another seller......
 
Personally, I would need more proof that the buyer actually DID do what the OP/Seller says. I haven't seen any information to support this story, yet.
 
Oh I know, I have spoken with Brendon.....he is a classy guy who's word I trust.

Not that I am implying that Brendon is lying. But he could post his Money requests.
 
The only way I, myself have to pay for anything is with money orders, and I always get my payments out. :)

I'd like to know if the guy actually said he sent the money? If not, this is not warranted, but if it is.....then it is GOOD that it is here.

see i would like to know if he sent money as well, but avoiding my voicemail and text messages...something does not add up...if i was in his shoes and sent money for a snake and the seller says he did not receive it i would be all over that figuring out where my money went
 
i appreciate everyones comments, the point of the matter is,i will never do business with this individual again. I am just trying to make a point here and give some sellers a heads up that this person sounds a little shady to me..it might be the wrong title to some...to me it was proper

Thanks for the "heads up."

For many of us your word carries more weight when backed up with evidence. It is always nice to have groupies hanging onto your every word, but those groupies own words rarely carry any weight. :shrug01:

The same way some of us won't ship first, we like to see something of substance to support a story here on the BOI (as I am sure you know).

Probably should have been info thread but this guy could have clearly tried to get the op to ship before actually seeing the money show up. Better a post incorrectly marked than no post at all. Evidence or not.
 
That's true. Especially if he says he sent it paypal (I have no experience with that though) From what I have heard though it shows up pretty much instantly.
