Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them.     Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I'm currently holding an animal that I cannot safely ship. Since it is MY (the seller's) responsibility to ensure live arrival, she'll stay here until it's safe to get her to her new owner. As bad as I feel that my customer will have to wait on a break in the weather, I couldn't imagine asking him to pay a dime because "she's in my way"!! Ridiculous!!

He IMO is a form of scammer.

Cause you didnt send MORE money to him to pay shipping he wont give your 400 back. How does that work, he gets to keep money and resell snake to double his profits.

Good Luck selling or buying no Clayton Miller. Ill be sure to make it a mission to keep ppl from buying from you. Even if you fix this deal, your someone that needs to get out and stay out.
 
I already posted a link on his FB wall to get him to come here. And just as I figured, he deleted it FAST.

He spent the money, and cant send it back, so hes trying to get you to send shipping money so its out of his hands.

Lets see how he feels when his bank account goes in the negative from the Charge backs.
 
ok this is in reguards to the im such a bad guy post....
Kaitlin Hornbaker wanted to buy a ADULT AND I SAY AGAIN A ADULT PROVEN BREEDER FEMALE PASTEL BALL PYTHON... for me and she couldnt pay up front all the money which i agreed to a payment plan half up front and then when she got paid again in 2 weeks to pay off. note 1 PHONE CALL OTHER THAN THAT NO PHONE COMMUNICATION...SHE REFUSED AND REJECTED EVERY CALL TO VOICE MAIL. i tried and even sent a email that said to get ahold of me asap because she sent the final payment without including shipping. which i said in the very first phone call shipping would be around 75 dollars give or take and syr price is 78.38.. but then she changes thing up saying she needs to have it shipped on the 2nd of jan for the 3rd which syr wouldnt even ship them days because of christmas and new years so she comes back with a completely diff. mailing address to send it again and she tells me that i wouldnt be able to send till the 16th of this month because of her not being there or whatever.. but again everytime i ask her to call me i get nothing. to tell her that i will not ship on a thurs for fri it would have to wait till mon for tues. i dont hang around on the computer everyday and there is 3 other people that work with ccareptiles that has the pw just so everyone knows its not always me.It doesnt matter what was all said between us she failed to complete her end of the deal on the shipping i tried to call her on this matter today after i got more than one phone call.. and guess what didnt answer im not going to get into a pissing match with anyone i have done business in the past where i had to hold snake due to weather but this whole transaction should of been done before christmas before the weather got bad and as everyone knows that didnt happen i still have the pastel female and will send it to kaitlin when SHE contacts me.. thank you .

Did you tell her you would charge her $5/day in boarding? Why?

Say more about the address change. Sometimes shipping to a different address than the payment address creates problems for systems such as paypal. I'm curious why she asked.

Her shipping address is her address she lives at while attending college with a roommate.

If not mistaken her parents live in Texas and she goes there on holiday breaks. Its not much to ask to change shipping.

I don't have voice mail. My phone company hasn't allowed me to since I am not residing in the state where my cell number is from. I also don't like to do transactions on the phone as there is NO documentation when I do this. After this crisis I will NEVER again do any deals on the phone again I only gave you another address because as I've stated the address I gave you was for my friend who lives in Flagstaff but went home for the holidays and her home was in Phoenix. I asked her nicely if I could ship the snake to her since it would be warmer there than in Flagstaff. You did not tell me prior that SYR wasn't going to ship on the 2nd and I have to admit it was stupid of me not to do prior research, but now you're ticked off because you can't ship to Phoenix? I also asked my friend if I could ship to her place because I was leaving after exams. I will be in Texas as Rich said until the 12th. Which you could then ship her the next week I got back but then you stated you wanted me to pay a boarding fee until she left your facility? What's the sense in that if she was only going to stay there 2 more weeks? Again as most people have stated I've never heard of any breeder paying a boarding fee. Especially when it's so cold outside. I have to tell you what mostly made me ticked off about this transaction was you threatened me! I have never been threatened while being in this business and have worked with breeding reptiles since I was a Freshman in high school. I've been on many different forums and admit I am sort of new to fauna. I never took the time to create one until I started with ball pythons. You're making it seem like you don't have the money to refund me either. What if said animal you shipped to me and she arrived DOA? What would you have done to refund me then? I'm sorry I don't really want to associate myself with someone who makes the buyer whos already paid for the snake a bad person.
 
has it been over 45 days?if not contact paypal asap and do a charge back if it has been over 45 days do a chargeback with your bank
 
I would print out these correspondences and send them to your credit card/bank fraud department to process a chargeback. Banks and credit cards generally give you a provisional credit to your account while they investigate the claim. If you paid by paypal, they won't give you the credit up front, but they will lock his account until they can retrieve the funds for you. He is clearly not going to refund your money and I wouldn't trust the "merchandise" from someone like this. Once they find in your favor, which they will as he has already refused to ship you an item that you paid for, it will be taken out of his account and he will be accessed a nice bank chargeback fee on top of that. I would not trust this individual with another dime of my money. Additionally, I would look into finding out if this could be considered internet fraud. I know that all states have their own laws regarding things like this. A call to his local police department may also be helpful. I am very very new to snakes and read these daily although I have never posted. I am thankful for posts like these to keep me from having potential problems in the future!
 
he hasn't shipped anything so if 45 day's isn't up do a paypal charge back escalate it to the paypal reps and ask for a refund instead of the merchandise,seeing as he has not shipped anything paypal should be in your favor
 
Update:
Still haven't gotten my refund. I have called my bank and filed a claim as promised for half of the payment as the other half was on cc I was sent to a different department who said I have to call paypal. I would have liked to have had a refund from the seller himself but as this doesn't seem to be in his best interest. I will call paypal tomorrow as well for the other half of my refund. Thanks everyone for your support as I have to work with this man/company.
 
Update:
Still haven't received a refund yet and the bank is currently processing my refund. If I am only able to get half back from the bank the rest I will file with my local authorities as it will be basically stolen money as nothing was received.

I'm not sure what you are not understanding about her not contacting you on the phone. Phone conversations leave NO paper trail,nothing to prove of anything one way or another.

She no longer wants the snake and wants her refund. It's as simple as that. She has even gone so far as to say that she will accept said refund in payments in case you are short on the cash. I think that's pretty darn reasonable.

Have you tried e-mail? Or you could respond to her in this thread. Hate to see someone tarnish their name over something that could have easily been solved by now. Do the right thing and send back her money.
