    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Definitely not the same snake. Is it at least a female and large enough to lay a clutch like the one shown in the picture? :rolleyes: Even if she is, I'd be disappointed because the pattern in the original female is really nice.

I wouldn't say for certain that the guy intentionally set out to scam you....but it's quite clear, at the very least, that he has absolutely no concerns about his customers and cares more about the money than making things right. :NoNo:

I wanted her because of the large egg output. I figured she was pretty healthy and huge but the one I got weighed in at a little over 1100 grams when she arrived. She is up to 1300 now I believe. She has since been sold to a friend.

Clint has been around for maybe 6 years, and I have seen him buying stuff, then an "out of Business sale" at least 3 times. It would be a shame if he leaves with this hanging over his head. His reputation should be worth more than a couple hundred bucks. Hopefully he will explain what happened about the snake mixup, and refund your money.

After studying the pics, I agree. Definitely a disappointment after choosing the one that laid such a huge, beautiful clutch. You might have gotten a virgin, for all you know (and at 1100 grams, I'd hope she was a virgin!).

I have my doubts that you'll ever get any fair resolution out of this....but I do hope so!
 
Just from looking at the first 2 pics you can see a diff, the snake on the eggs doesn't have a spot on the back of her head in her pattern while the snake pictured as the one you recieved does. That snake is not any of the 3 other females shown.

They may be right about things working out for you.. Too much time has passed on all his other promises. Sorry man.
 
Yeah it definitely appears I have been screwed and not getting anything. After seeing those pictures and the snake I got not being one, I think I see through the smoke. This whole time I've been hoping for the best in him, but I don't even know why he even sent a snake if he conned me. None of this makes sense.

I just snapped this picture a few minutes ago of this snake, which has recently been returned to me as part of a trade deal that didn't go as planned.

Here is the story as far as I know to be true.

I made a trade with a person who also lives in Michigan that I contacted through fauna. The trade involved 2 adult female normals. Through a set of circumstances of which I don't know the exact details, the 2 normal females ended up in the hands of Clint and this appears to me to be one that you "picked".

The person that I originally made the deal with picked up the 2 females from Clint and returned them to me on Saturday. They are currently in my possession. The 2nd female wasn't one of the other 2 in the pictures so I didn't include any pictures of her.

I don't know the exact details of any sort of agreements between the person I made the deal with and Clint but I get the impression that Clint screwed over this person as well. I haven't included the name of the person I did the trade deal with as we have worked something out and as long as that goes as planned I don't see any reason to post his name in any sort of negative light.

I have a feeling Clint will see the "error of his ways" at some point in the future and try to make this right. I have sent him things like thermostats in the past with just his word that he would pay, and he always did. I think for whatever reason he is in a bad way financially , doing construction work, and on an Island no less,... and in Michigan!! Bad combination if you want to pay your bills. He is making some screwed up desisions that will affect him for a long time..
Think about it Clint??
