Ok, so here's the deal. I bought a Male Red Crested from Crazy Cresties. I talked to Wendy on the phone for over an hour one night and she seemed like a straight up person. Before I talked to her, I had no idea who she was. After I hung up with her, I knew I recognized her name from somewhere, and figured it out later on.
But, I decided to buy the Crested anyways. A lot of people knock her for her personal life "Choices" but I could care less about that.
Anyway. The night before she was sending the gecko she emailed me and said he looked a little tan that night and he was probably going through a shed. She said he should be back to normal in no time.
Well, I got him and he was brown, not tan, but brown. I emailed her right away and she said to give him some time to color up. She told me that she would "Fix It" if he didn't color up.
She sent him to me on Oct 23,2006. A few days later I emailed her because he was still brown, never turned red at all. She sent me this email
On Nov 5 I sent her this email:

Now, all of a sudden her mother starts emailing me.
I told her that I was trying to reach Wendy, because I was emailing about a crested, so her mother again emails me:
Now her mothers tells me she has been away for a few days and for me to email her at her other email address. so I did. Wendy finally emails me on Nov 8.
3 more days go by, no email from her, so I emailed her again. In these 3 days she had plenty of time to post new ads on Kingsnake but not answer my email. These emails went on until Nov 21, her emailing me every so often, she sent me a few pictures of some baby cresteds that she wanted to send me in place of him, but I bought an adult Male Red Crested and didn't want any babies. Her last 2 emailes to me were 7 days apart, by that time I was so tired of this deal. I hadn't heard from her in 7 days, so, on Nov 27 I emailed her this:
Then on Nov 29, I hadn't heard from Wendy in about a week, I get this email:
Here are all the emails except for one, the one stating that I got the label, I can't find it. The emails are from the bottom up.
Today I get the Money order, it is only for the Crested Gecko, not the money I paid to have him shipped to me, or the money I paid to ship him back. He sent a long letter with the refund, I am going to try to get my scanner to work so I can attach it. But, here is what it says:
"Jeanne-
When one purchases anything from anyone whether it be a TV infomercial or online business ect. and the purchaser is unhappy with the product and wants a refund- They receive a refund for the item purchased. Everone knows that. I am fulfilling my obligation to you and refunding your money spent on the animal. I would not be asking you to pay for shipping if our roles were reversed. I am sorry for our differences on this matter. Please note the business you made this transaction with no longer exists -I could have told you that & left it at that.
Good luck with your future endeavors."
If you look at one of his emails it even says that the label she will be sending me would be Prepaid. (It is in bold above)
These people - Wendy Childs and Ali Haines (If Ali even exists, I am still not convinced that it wasn't Wendy this whole time) should NOT be in business!
In short, I paid $190 Shipped for a Red Male Crested. Received a Brown Male Crested. Had to wait 2 MONTHS for anyone to do anything about it. And in the end they got the Crested back, and I am out $58.88 with NOTHING to show for it.
I still have all (Or almost all) emails between me and Crazy Cresties. I would post them, but it would take up WAY too much space, if anyone wants them let me know.

Hmmm, he was doing that to me too. His sisters have done that as well. Both the logo girls are related directly. I atattched pics. It seems to be just part of their growing phase they go through. He was better at turning on and off more often than that though.

Hey Wendy,
He still isn't turning red, still that ugly brown color. It has been about 2 weeks, and I haven't seen a change in him, so I would like to send him back. Especially, before it gets too cold to ship in my area. I was really hoping he would turn red, he would have been a good match.

I would really like to see a pic of the dragon that you reciecved. I need it so I can compare dragons. Could you take a pic and send it to me? It's possible that he is just in shed mode. My really colorful dragons look like dirt for several weeks before they shed. I can guarentee you that your dragon is a colored one as I don't have any normals. All of my breeders are high color.

If it is a baby, the reds look kind of brown when not fired up. Try spraying the gecko with warm water at night. That's what Wendy does to get hers to fire up. I will let her know.

I will make sure you wont be overlooked and these issues will be addressed. thank you for your patience with this matter, I hope you will still consider doing business with me in the future.

He should arrive tomorrow by 3:00 PM your time, once you receive him you can rund my money ($208.88) to my paypal account which is the same as my email address, please use the refund button from when I sent Wendy the money so I don't get hit with Paypal fees. Wendy will be back in two years or so and regain her part in her business but in the meantime I will be running it. I can't really say anymore....but I'm sure you can use your imagination.
