    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Crazy Cresties - Wendy Childs - Ali Haines- BAD GUYS!!!!!!!!

Not real sure here but from what she wrote the deal happened before the change of owners. And she did talk to Wendy.. Randy
 
Yes, I bought the Crested before Ali took over. I had talked to Wendy on the phone and I THOUGHT she seemed like a nice person, and the only thread I read over here about her was the one between her and Eric Straight (I think thats his name). Most of the bad talk that I read about her was her "Profession" and didn't think that would matter when buying a Crested. Maybe someone can post a link to the other "Bad Guy" threads about her, or, other people that got scammed by them should come forward to tell their stories, so everyone will know how horrible they are.

If I recall correctly, in the threads there are stories about how she and Jeane would claim that animals arrived sick and dead and seek refunds (more than once), make claims with credit card companies, make threatening, obscenity laced phone calls, etc. I haven't reviewed the information in its entirety but that was the gist of it. Some of it came from people who were also less than straight up but clearly it was a pattern. Wendy also was associated with neo-Nazi/white supremacists which would have put her on my "not do business with" list as well. That's just me personally and others are entitled to their own opinions on that "personal" aspect which is separate from her "profession". Then there's the allegation that Alex Hue mentioned that Wendy was investigated for selling a stolen car. Then there was this thread where she was at the very least misleading about the source of her animals. All of this seems to show a pattern, at least to me.

Her biggest fan seems to be Jim F who himself mentioned she was looking at some serious prison time for crimes unknown.

Now for those who are chastising Jeanne for doing business with Wendy that's really not going to get anywhere. She's a class act and made an error in judgment.

I can imagine that Jim F will have some response sooner or later about the obviously doctored photograph of that brown gecko (which is the essence of this thread), but for now he's been to the site and surely must have missed this thread. Being right at the top of the BOI I know that it must have been easy to overlook.

c'mon guys ! A person who has scammed dozens upon dozens of people, all of whom report the abuse on this forum, claims that she has turned the business over to someone else, and you believe her ??!! In the words of P.T. Barnum, "there's a sucker born every minute ". If you let it be you, despite ample warnings, then you most definitely "deserve it" !!

What is the BOI for, anyway ? Aren't there lots of good people to buy from ? Shouldn't we be using it to remove disreputable people from the trade,while supporting honest, hardworking individuals ?

A few weeks ago, on the BOI, a guy was being dragged across the coals and had "bad guy" burned into his name because he was an hour and a half late for a meeting. That's not a bad guy folks. Wendy and Jeanne Best and whoever else they want to call themselves are clearly people to be avoided, and if you don't use the info on the BOI to recognize that, then you need to be "scammed" until you learn your lesson. Stop buying from them, and support the good people with your business, or I'll sell you a bridge in Brooklyn...

You are correct Randy, I stand corrected.

Regardless.........NO ONE deserves to have their hard earned money taken from them. Would I have taken the chance of sending them my money? Hell no....but I still don't believe anyone "deserves" it. :shrug01:

Wendy seemed nice in the e-mails, but when I saw the Bianca Trump thing, I got scared... especially considering my ethnicity ( I won't reveal it here because its a LONG list). Wendy went through 90% of the transaction, then switched to Ali after I paid. While I'm satisified with my purchase from them, I don't know what to think now...

How about you got lucky and got a nice garg. I wouldn't recommend playing that lottery again.
 
The way I heard, she has now taken something else. A real nice ride in a black n white taxicab (The ones with blue lights to get through busy intersections), also new braclets and all. I heard they gave her a suite in the state motel.

I left off the part about the new set of clothes, bright orange. This way she will not be missed by the many eyes that are watching her.

These posts are unnecessary.. Jeanne came her to share her experience, and add to the bad boy posts. She does not need to be called names or chastised for her actions, but only to learn from her mistakes.
She came forward of her own free will to share with us... Her lesson, her mistake...

The take I have on this is that Jeane thought wendy had changed her ways and that Jeane did NOT hold her lifestyle against her.

Jeane tried to be the nice guy and got crapped on for it. I think that's the gist of it.

If some can't figure it out Heather, not you the other guy, they probably won't get it just because we keep repeating it.

He's been here...again. Like I said, given that this thread has been near the top of the BOI since its inception, and since he's been to the site at least twice, I can see how it would have been easy to miss. :rolleyes:
