• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Well dang...just read we can't reply to trade posts anymore and I see he's back to posting here. Is there a paid member that's willing to link this thread in his trade posts? If I had the cash right now I'd become a paid member and do it myself...

Plan on growing up anytime soon, or is this going to be your business practice? Can't own up to a simple mistake, ignore your customer, insult your customer, then back to ignoring your customer? Me too, considering the ad was just put up today and there are a lot more geckos listed that are just as nice, if not nicer, for a lower price. Hopefully, if she really is sold, the buyer gets what he/she paid for...

In the beginning I would have just taken a apology for the mistake, but when he blatantly ignored me, then insulted me, that's when I decided I wasn't going to be nice and just let it slide. I won't let him walk all over me like that. :angry:

It wouldn't surprise me if he marked it as sold for that very reason. Sadly, I can't view his Facebook for his business as he never unblocked me to see what's been going on there.

After I was cool-headed during this whole fiasco, and agreed to wait for the refund, I'm pretty ticked now, and I plan to make this little thread a personal 'hobby'. I don't want him doing this to someone else for even more money. It's sad that he thinks that he can just do this and get away with it. I won't let that happen.

I'm just fed up with his childish crap. Scammer in the making? Quite possibly. Don't see why else he'd let $40 ruin his name, unless he just doesn't care about his reputation. :shrug01:
 
Not good

Yours is the first negitive seller/buyer post ive Read since ive gotten back into cresteds 2 weeks ago. Sorry uve had to deal with it, i thought this only happened in the arachnid hobby. Ive been proved wrong. Hope it all works out for you katie.

Thanks Eddie. At this point, I don't think I'll be seeing that refund sadly. Who knows...maybe he'll get some sense knocked into him and realize this is not good for business.
