Whatever dude. You're the one to put all your info out there for the public to see. There are things called privacy settings.

I'm glad you kind of tried to resolve things (by sending money.) However, I think that you've made no friends here and lost many potential customers. Add me to the list of people who will never buy from you. I'd rather give my business to honest, sincere, and hard working individuals. I suggest you begin correspondence with actual reputable business persons to become educated on good customer service. Maybe you'll be able to rebuild things with a sincere apology sometime. maybe.

Oh- one more thing- IDK what it is that people think that ANYTHING that gets posted on places like Facebook, Myspace, and forums is in ANY way private- if you truly want a conversation to stay private, don't put it on the WWW!!! Gen Y is especially naieve about this craziness, for whatever reason...

Are you breeding geckos? are you planning on selling eggs? do you have a website with product (geckos) listed?

Robert, do you breed geckos and sell them? Then you are a 'business', just small scale. If you plan on selling geckos, you have to have a good customer base, and you earn those customers by doing right by them.

You sent the refund, but now you have to earn back those customers, and your comments here are not going to help you. You've got potential, if you choose to work for that, than great! Currently you are letting your emotions get the best of you.

On your first post in this thread, (that would be post #5) you refer to yourself as RSREPTILES. Unless your Dad's last name just happens to be Reptiles, that's a business name.

Plus of course, you were doing business, and selling reptiles.

Robert, another piece of advice...when sending a refund don't send it as a payment, send it as a gift or refund. I got charged the fee, at least it was just a dollar and change...

One thing is NEVER EVER send paypal payments as personal payments unless you know the person. As these payments are final. No claim can be filed on them if the buyer backs out on you and takes the money. This is why Fees are not taken out as paypal figures you know the party.

I could have sworn you called yourself a business. Didn't I see screen shots of a Roberts Reptiles? And a RR something or other? A hobbyist wouldn't have to have a name. They'd just post an ad.

Katie, I think he knew that you'd get a fee, and I think he knew you couldn't dispute a gift too, which is exactly why he tried to get you to send it that way in the beginning. Worms can only keep the slime from oozing out for a little while.

i am glad that this came to a some what acceptable conclusion. while the actions went through it is the attitude that could use a little thought.

at this point a little reflection might help change things for the future. any time something is sold it is considered a business from home lemonade stand to here. some places require you to get a permit to have a garage sale. the why does not matter, only the fact that money exchanges hand.

if you want to consider continual selling, on here or in general, you are going to have to change your nonchalant attitude about problems with your customers no matter how small. think about it and do a search for your name in yahoo and google and see what pops out. This BOI is here forever. Nothing can change that now.

If I were him I'd feel publicly humiliated for my actions and never want to show my face in the reptile industry ever again. I think he's shot himself in the foot so many times it'll never heal, and that's also not mentioning the immaturity of his actions will show on google for a long, long time. Prospective hirers for whatever field he chooses to go to will likely see this and think twice before adding him to their staff.

And like I said in another BOI thread... why is it that all scammers seem to lack the ability to use proper punctuation and grammar? It looks awful. I just don't get it.
