Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I go to an art college and even they have higher standards of grammar and word usage. I'm so tired of seeing run-on sentences and failure to understand the English language. It does nothing for the herp community or anyone else - it just makes the person look uncultured and immature, which he's chosen to embrace. Sad, really.
 
Katie, I'm so glad you got your partial refund, at least. You really deserve it for having to put up with someone so childish..

Still, it's quite pathetic he didn't give you the money until he realized that he would no longer get any sales from fauna or pangea and permanently damaged his reputation, as well as had other people from the BOI telling him to pay up. At least the power of the BOI got the job done!

I see him spying this thread - I couldn't imagine myself ever doing such a thing and not caring about my reputation! It really stuns me that he wouldn't actively try to fix this, but that's the nature of scammers I guess...

Glad you got the $40 Katie, and although I hate to see people scammed - I'm sort of glad this happened to show what kind of loser this guy is. Just think, if you hadn't had this happen he may have done this to someone else for a more expensive animal. That person may have been someone who doesn't frequent the BOI... And we'd never know!

He is certainly on the never buy from list, regardless of him sending your $40 back. His responses on this thread speak volumes.

When my children were very young, they would misbehave, and then when prompted would say 'sorry' and feel like that erased their wrongs. And maybe when one is 4 years old, that might be the case.

and did not deliver, spent all kinds of time saying nasty things to this very nice buyer who was only trying to point out that her birthday gift lizard was not as advertised, and finally he throws her forty bucks and expects that 'sorry' erases the past.

While I'm glad for Katie that she did get her partial refund, the seller sent it only after being called out on the BOI by multiple people. In my opinion, after all he put his buyer through, the forty bucks does not set him back in the cradle of good rep. I'm not alone in my feelings, as others have voted their opinion since the last time this list was copied here.

This is one of those cases where the seller actually dug a hole so frikn' deep that he can't possibly get out of. He waited so long that when did the right thing it actually looked WORSE for him. It's so obvious he only refunded for his own good, and that's bad in my opinion. There is no redemption for this one, it might be the worst thread BOI thread I've ever read.

I too agree that he has not redeemed himself. He did it once his personal info was coming out and he knew that the big dogs were going to start breathing down his neck.
Katie got what she was asking for, which made her a bit happier. But I am sure she wont ever purchase from him again. I am also thinking that anyone doing their research wont buy from him.
Luckily he only has 15 cresties, because if he had a lot to sell, he would be needing to look to his other "friends" to help sell them under a different name as his is shot to hell.
