In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Critical bill Appreciation Thread. :)

He is still making some movements and they are going to start him on a new blood thinner to try to break up the clot in his leg. They found out today that he was allergic to the first blood thinner they gave him and it cause "antibodies" which basically means that his body produced tiny blood clots - nice, ha? He was pretty alert when I got to the hospital today and I asked him to blink for me and he did and it was much quicker than last time. I also went and bought him a cd player/radio for his room and the new Dave Matthews cd. Now, I have to order all the old Dave Matthews ones, I thought I still had them, but of course, can't find them anywhere. He seems to be more alert when there is noise in the room and there is just so much food network he can listen to. I think if any music will get into his head, it's definitely Dave Matthews.

I will post again when I get home tonight from the hospital - I have to try to feed the kids, give them all baths and get back to the hospital - all in 2 hours, should be interesting.

That's good to hear. He'll be home before you know it.

Great to hear he is getting more responsive. We will be praying that everything goes right while they take care of the blood clot.

Maggie, I'm glad he's responding quicker than previously. Maybe now that he's getting meds that he's not allergic to he'll start showing more improvement as well.

I wonder if the second heart attack was triggered by meds???
Below is a message I left for Chuck before his second heart attack.

Hope you feel better Chuck! I suffered a heart attack myself a few years ago and I will say do some research on the meds you are prescribed.

I've never been one to take meds but considering the seriousness of a heart attack I took the prescribed meds and felt like crap and was worried about having a secondary heart attack. I researched the meds and decided with all the side effects etc that it would be in my best interest to stop taking these meds. Low and behold I started feeling better almost immediately!
My doctor was against me not taking the prescribed meds so after 2 doctor visits I never went back and I feel fine after 3 years of this happening.

Eat well and get some exercise by taking walks and like I said research the meds.

Best wishes and get well!

It very well could have been. I have had chronic pain for going on 12 years and have had a number of adverse reactions to medications and have felt like they were going to prescribe me a running wheel, a water bottle and some lab block for as much as I felt like a guinea pig. Where the hell is Gregory House when you need him?
