• Responding to email notices you receive.
    **************************************************
In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

  • IMPORTANT! PLEASE READ!! About the Google Adsense ads being displayed

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Critical bill Appreciation Thread. :)

Yes, that is VERY good news. Honestly, I've been on pins and needles every time I check on this thread.......

FANTASTIC!!!

Part of him sleeping is the meds...morphine will knock a rhino on it's ass.

Prayers will continue till Chuck comes here and tells me to STOP it already!!!

Hugs-
Donna

That is awesome news!

Hope it helped make your kids feel better too.

We'll be keeping your family in our thoughts and prayers until he's through this.

Just got home again from the hospital. His eyes were open much more than normal. He also seemed to focus on me more than usual when I spoke to him. He was closing his eyes and I called and had the girls get on the phone and talk to him and as soon as the girls started to speak he opened his eyes again!!!!! He is still not responding, like when I ask him to blink or squeeze my hand, but that will take time. Tonight was probably the best night we have had so far. I know he hears me and I'm hoping my voice comes through louder and clearer each time I am with him. The doctors and nurses seem much more optimistic as well. He is no where near out of the woods yet, but he is stepping small steps in the right direction. It will be a long haul for him, but if anyone can do it, he definitely can. I will let you know more tomorrow when I see him again. I hope all of you and your families have a wonderful night.

I am so very glad to hear this Maggie. You are awesome for updating for everyone here and everyone appreciates it.

Awesome!

He should be able to respond better once to morphine's dropped down.

I was put on that stuff once and couldn't focus enough to respond to anything either. Did give me some wicked hallucinations though..
