    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

I guarantee all my cats for 1yr in writing.

I am not going out of the snake biz.That gentelmen could have shipped back for a full refund.

The BOI is for problem deals ,not to talk about peoples personal life.

Yea, what he said.

Anyone with and ounce of credibility knows that you cant get a URI to the point of drainage being present from shipping.  Yes, than can get one but not progressed to that point that fast.  It had to be sick before being boxed and shipped.  That much is a no brainer.

But in all fairness, we all posted on a thread a few weeks ago about money back on a snake that the customer was dissastisfied with.  The customer who we can call NickI., wanted money first before shipping it back.  We all agreed that is NOT the way it is done.  So the same should apply here too.  However, trust is a major factor and this guy is not one to be trusted from the sounds of his emails and shipping costs and practices.  Perhaps you guys could agree to meet someplace mutual since neither side will trust the other.

Post a photo copy of the Airborne bill, it will have the actual costs of shipping written on it.  Lets see if its close to $200.

He has such an extensive vocabulary. The unfortunate thing is somehow, someway Dan will find a way to continue to sell his sick animals to unsuspecting people. I am so glad his true personality is coming out through his emails. Around December when he cheated my kids out of one their Christmas gifts I had at least 20 emails with his profanity and unprofessionalism spread throughout. Of course, we are all in a conspiracy out to get him. Just ask him. We are all lying. I told you Dan that you would never make it in the snake business. Too much communication amongst everyone to get away with your ridiculous behavior for too long.

Does Dan live here in Michigan? I thought he just had "friends" in Kalamazoo. I did not know he lived here. Sounds like he does not care much about the welfare of his reptiles. Has anyone gotten a cat from him? I know he was trying to do trades for boa "morphs" a while back. Maybe Griff has one of his cats.
 
Dan does not live in Michigan, he lives in florida.  He said he had friends in kalamazoo that he was gonna send to jeremy's house.  I looked up the airbill #2403802973, but didnt see any cost on it.  Only the arrival times, n such.  Im not too concerned anymore, i know i wont get him to give any money back.  I've already set Jeremy up with my vet, and the snakes will be taken care of.  As for Dan, i hope he never sells any live animals again.  Thanks for all the help, and support.

In my earlier post concerning the DH Snow I don't believe the animal that was sold to me was sick prior to shipping. It was, however, a big mistake on Dan's part to ship so soon after feeding, hence the regurge. He even admitted this to me which I thought was honest and at least he will be careful not to make the same mistake again. I also never stated I thought the animal to be a false het as has been insinuated here. I don't feel it necessary for me to return my animal at this point because she seems fine now although I won't know  for certain until I feed her and she holds down several meals. Call me optimistic but I have no reason to believe Dan would not refund Matt's money if the snakes were retuned. Trouble is we'll never know because Matthew isn't willing to do so. How can Dan be blamed for that? It seems to me Dan should at least refund the difference between actual shipping charges from the $200 paid. If Matt isn't willing to send the animals back in good faith then the health claims are neither here nor there unless a report from a competent vet is made.
 
Out of curiosity, where in Florida does this delightful and articulate person with the flair for oratory live?  Sounds like the type that may come up with an alis soon and I want to be sure to know his locale.

I would like to thank everyone for posting these details here and to let you know that you have made a difference, albet a small one. I have been doing research into buying some sugar gliders from a reputible breeder and I saw Dan's name on one of the lists that came up kingsnake classifieds). I was immediately warned by my sister who is very much into snake breeding about the discussion going on in this forum so I came to check it out. You have all convinced me that dealing with this man is a bad idea, and needless to say I won't be dealing with him. I hope this forum can serve to warn others as well. To Matthew: I hope your friend's snake gets well soon! Thank you all for the heads up on this bad breeder!

Let me start off by saying that I am not a snake person.  I don't know a great deal about snakes, but I do know a bit about business, and crooks.  In my experience, crooks stick together.  I don't know who this Griff person is, but his very association with Dan Bifield would be enough for me not to do business with him.(Griff)  If Griff doesn't know that he is losing reputation here by association, someone who feels he is a standup guy needs to let him know.  To give a comparison from my little corner of the herp world, if Fluker Farms said they were endorsed by Kevin Dunne of Dragon's Den, and Kevin didn't deny it, he would lose my business.  JMO.

Well i am going to have to disagree with Greg Riso about Matt sending back the animals, I think if Dan represented himself in a professional manner and was not using horrible profanity and calling people liars right off the bat, Matt might have sent the snakes back in good faith, but that is not the case here.

I spoke to Griff last night! The ONLY relationship Griff has to Dan, is that they live in the SAME town, and Griff made *ONE* SALE to Dan.... PERIOD!
Seems like EVERY town has somebody in it that makes it very difficult for the HONEST people to do business! We have one in Tampa, and (obviously) they have one in Hollywood, FL!
Please.... DO NOT associate Lemuel Griffin (Griff) and/or Gary Walsh with Dan.... they will NEVER be affiliated with each other! ....Neil

Griff AND Gary Walsh are GREAT GUYS! They are friends and have done SOME things with each other.... but, neither one of them would associate with Dan! EVER!

So Dan is a mammal guy eh? I guess if it was "cats" instead of snakes baking in the sun all day in a shipping box then that would have been ok eh? lol.  I'm not normally too fond of cats but I have sympathy for any currently in his care.
Dan, you need to give the guy something back for shipping. It's a small world and it's closing in on you.
