    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Dan, if you are serious about making things right with Jeremy, pick a third party that both of you trust and give him the money.  Jeremy will then ship you back your animals, and then the trusted third party will release the funds to Jeremy.  That way, You both can rest assured that the trusted third party will not mess either of you over.

Now, who should this be?  Well, I have no idea if he would be willing to perform in this capacity, but I think we all saw that Griff is a trustworthy and honest person throughout this thread.  If he would be willing to do so, I think you both could accept him as the trustworthy third party.

Dan, this plan allows you the security of not releasing your money until the snakes are back in your possession, but it also shows that you are willing to refund the money.  Because you have acted as you have on the BOI and privately in emails, you have really crossed yourself off the list of trustworthy persons for many of us.  If you are willing to do this, I think Jeremy would be willing to as well, and this deal can be put to rest (death).  If not, then, in my opinion, you should be labeled a "Bad Guy" in every sense of the word, and we gossiping girly breeders should do everything in our considerable collective power to see to it that you have no opportunities to do this to someone else ever again.

So, what do you say?

Its very simple, You guys got screwed by a bad guy and can kiss your money good bye.

1) He sells sick animals.
2) Ships poorly with total disregaurd for the welfare of the animals
3) Rips off customers with outrageous shipping fees
4) Will NOT return any money regaurdless of his claims. (that you can take to the bank)
5) Customer service in the face of a problem is well, very lacking


So ins short he proved beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is a "bad guy" / scammer / rip off artist/ cant be trusted.

I went to the cat forum and asked around if it was ok to leave cats in a box in the sun all day since Dan is mostly into cats. I included a link to this thread. Thought he might appreciate the focus on his great customer service and shipping methods over there in the Cat forum. Let's see what the cat people think of his concern for animals and his customer.

Gee Dan, I don't know WHY anyone would question your integrity with a rant like that.

I think the point being made is not that you made the offer to offer a refund once you got the snakes, which is standard practice(if YOU would bother to read, most people have agreed on that point), but the fact that others have come forward to complain about situations that haven't been rectified and your attitude seems to show that once you have those snakes you will not refund the money.  
And what is your problem with people who actually breed things instead of just selling them?   Competition???  I am not out to sell horribly sick animals and bend people over the barrel for shipping(did you at least buy him dinner first?), so how on earth would you be competition to me or many of the others posting here?
There is no reason to get all defensive and tell us to go licking your nads or anything like that(unless you are into that kind of thing...ewww)because a group of your "peers" has pointed out your lack of ethics and candor regarding several issues in this deal with Jeremy/Matt.  Granted, I pretty much gave up reading this childish drivel a few pages back and have just been skimming, but I seem to have missed how in the he!! it cost $200 to ship one large and one small boa through Airborne Express.  OH wait, you probably never bothered to answer that did you?  
Do you understand why he is reluctant to send you the snakes back yet?  In most situations it is snakes first, refund after.  But in this case there is absolutely NO reason to trust that you will make good on it.  
Just for the record(and it will probably be deleted, but I feel I need to at least communicate on YOUR level for you to get it), you should at least offer to buy dinner, or at the VERY least lube it up before you try reaming someone's a$$ out on a business transaction.

You keep acting as if there are only two options to solve this problem: either send the snakes back to you for a refund (Jeremy won't do that if he has two brain cells in his head), or keep the snakes he does not want!  

OK. I'll type this very s-l-o-w-l-y so you can keep up, Dan!  There IS a third option on the table!

Will you agree to send the money to a trusted third party, who is acceptable to both you and your customer?  If you will do this, then I am certain that Jeremy will then ship the snakes back to you.  The money could then be sent to Jeremy, and you all will be happy.  Your money will not go to Jeremy until after you have your snakes, and he can ship the snakes with the knowledge that his money is on its way with no hesitations.

What exactly is wrong with this plan?  In my opinion, if you do not accept this plan, you are a liar, a crook, and a blemish we could do without in the herp industry.  I see nothing about this suggestion that is not acceptable to anyone who is honest and trustworthy.  Now, if a person is dishonest and untrustworthy, I can see why this plan would be a problem.  But barring that, this plan should be good enough for you.

You can come back on here and tell us all to lick whatever appendages you think you have to offer, but that will only deepen the reputation pit into which you've placed yourself.  You can cuss me like you did in the email you sent me, but that will only make you look like you have nothing of substance to say.

So, which will it be?  Are you a lying crook?  Or are you going to step up and settle this before your reputation is destroyed ENTIRELY?  Your choice as to you behavior.  Our decision as to your character.

Just to show your intelligence level ( or lack of ). This thread had seen no action in about 30 hours or so. To my dismay it was about to fall onto the 2nd page of this forum. In case you need that explained to you that would be beneficial to you. People were finally leaving it alone. Then you, brainiac that you are, decide to respond to it with all your wisdom and knowledge (perhaps experience) of other guys paying special attention to your personal areas and shoot it right back to the top of the page. All that did was generate several hundred additional looks and several comments to keep it at the top. You keep spewing your vast knowledge at us and we'll keep telling the World (with your help) what a waste of flrsh you really are.
