The question here is how many reports of IBD has that lab produced for the fellow? How come he went nuts when someone from the BOI tried to contact the lab to check? Why did other professionals in the industry tell me he claims IBD and other stuff? Why did he come to me a month later with this report and ask for more money?

Lets see how many detectives in this group can figure those answers out.

You dont give a crap about any of this, you dont care that there could be another person that YOU know of that is selling IBD infected animals (as you yourself have claimed that the snake came from whoever this mystery person is), and then he sold them to you! If you knew about the fact that that snake came to you with possible ibd from that guy, and then you sold it to someone who confirmed it, then youre just as bad now for not saying a word. oh and just in case you try to say something to the effect of " i wont say anything because you are trying to make me" I dont expect you to tell who that person is at all. Youre too concerned with yourself, and blaming everyone else around you, and going against the grain to bother doing the right thing. We already know you wont. Your definition of "stupid questions" don't seem to be in line with what most people would apply the term to. You came right out of the gate responding to questions and questioners as if they were attacks. You took honest criticism and advice and responded as if they were attacks- by agressively attempting to attack back. After a few days of doing that, even the most even mannered and well reasoned people got fed up with trying to communicate with you in any seriousness and you are left with the mess you yourself made.

Nobody owes you any apologies for anything that has been written to or about you, since you set the tone yourself. That said, if you can provide evidence, something concrete that would validate any of your statements or accusations, you *would* find that most if not all of your detractors would acknowledge it and reverse some of their positions. Your own conduct on these boards is responsible for some of the rest of it... and won't change until you do.

You confuse me Dan. Not as a result of some trick or witty manipulation- simply because I am unsure what to make of you. On the one hand, you have posted impressive photos of some gorgeous and obviously healthy animals and have some people who's judgement I know and trust who have done good business with you. On the other hand, you responded to any questioning or criticism in a manner completely disproportionate to any slights that may have been issued or implied, have argued absolute nonsense about the nature of IBD, acted in a manner that seemed to indicate you intended to screw a few of your customers over and are up to your neck in childish back and forth garbage. I honestly don't care much about you as a person, it doesn't matter one way or the other to me if you keep selling animals, if you stop selling animals, if you post on these forums or leave them... I, along with most the others you have been arguing with, simply want the truth and some assurance of it's truth...ness... in the form of evidence or proof.

Aaaaaaaalmost there. Now show some evidence that you were contacted on or after the 14th, at which time the buyer informed you that it had died and dated the death.

And name your "source" who told you this buyer had made previous claims of recieving IBD.

Correct Seamus - I never shipped any unhealthy snake in my life. I am very very very very very particular to examine each and every animal I ship to make sure I examine them close and know what I am doing to make the buyer happy. I just don't bag and send. I make sure each snake is eating great and pooping fine and then ship them out. I received imports from Europe and other places and the customers beg me to ship the stuff right away but I refuse and feed the animals so I am assured they eat and poop fine just to ensure I do not have issues later. I go the extra step every time and make sure the animal is quite healthy. I do admit I hand select some boas from breeders who have quality reputations and hold them a while and make sure they are clean. I am not perfect and have missed a thing here or there and make good with the buyers and such.

Stop selling animals? Heck dude, I have the largest collection of reptiles perhaps in the world. Over 100 different species to be exact. I have stuff breeding that will enrich the hobby for other folks and that is my fun.

Absolutely positively no way that snake survived for 7 days. Crickmer may have reported the death of the snake to you ON THE 14th, but that report is accurate. That snake died between the 7th and ? and was necropsied on the 11th.

It would take a lot to make him smell like roses. He stated he sold a snake that was diagnosed with IBD. He acknowledged it was his. He didn't have a clue what IBD was or that it was serious until we told him so and now he is trying to bury that fact with all his silly insults.

Yea, I was advised to stick to the company policy and terms of sale. There are exceptions of course when items are delayed due to shipper faults and such and those will be taken on a case by case basis of course but since I have made thousands of transactions, I was actually wondering when it might happen that I would be in a situation with refunds and such. But again, advice from professionals in the industry suggested I stick with the terms of company policy and I have reviewed several companies terms and their terms are quite tough.
