    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Im just glad i can sleep at night, knowing that im doing the right thing, standing up for the right thing, and KNOW that i would be 100% honest in all of my dealings. If i had IBD, i would be right out front, albeit probably scared as hell, telling everyone what is going on...

Your words mean nothing to me. You have nothing to back them up, so therefore its all just fluff. Go back in your hole you slimy slug. I have nothing more to say to either one of you Scumbags. The fact that BOTH of you are trying like hell to cover this up just PROVES to me that there is something more going on than a "strangled snake"

You have to realize that just because someone doesn't complain doesn't mean they're not happy. It could just mean that the quiet people have had enough and are not willing to bring things up because they just want them to go away.

Like me. I didn't complain because there's nothing that you can do about it. It's well past the giving me my money back time and I'm not taking any other snakes from you.

The first female passed on Monday. She's in the back yard trying to raise daisys now. The second is nearing that situation. She will be put down and necropsied over the weekend now that this horrible word "IBD" has come up. The male is still doing fine but holy crap. Is it sitting there with IBD and just not showing symptoms? Do I have $2,500 in little worthless leather bags that I'm keeping alive?

Out of three ETBs you sent me, 33% of them are doing great. That's pretty good percentage if you're playing baseball.

I'll post the results when they come in.

You are doing the right thing, especially by your willingness to get some info. Wish there was a way to send this thread to the folks at the lab that did the report.

In any case, if anyone in the future does a search here on either one of those two, they will have plenty to read.

theres no sense bringing the drama to them. Im sure he did call them, but im sure they did not say i was being shady about it. I was talking to a receptionist from the sounds of it. She was very kind, and told me that The Vet would be in Tomorrow morning. But if he did call, theres no sense of me calling again trying to pry the information out of them. ( if someone else wants to call, feel free now, im not going that route)

Ill call some vets around here tomorrow and see what i can find out, it will benefit everyone who keeps these animals. Hopefully well get some good info!!

Great post Erik. Glad you came forward and I do hope for the sake of your animals and investment that the report is not IBD positive.

Naw, that report is about a bad buyer who asked for more than what he paid for and then killed a skink by force feeding.

This report is about a nice guy named Dan who extended guarantees and got cursed at by the board of idiots.

Chuck, cannot you figure things out for yourself?

He's not contacted because I told him the snakes would die if he continued to feed them rat pups. So they did what I expected despite the initial vet exams showed them clean. And lets not forget the offer of a free emerald he declined. He is a good man also and will one day be successful with his emeralds.

LOl I know I'll likely regret asking this but why would rat pups kill an emerald ? I've raised many an Emerald and can't remember rats being a cause of concern much less a health issue. Randy

Ha! I read some of the advice you offered him. He made a smart choice to cut his losses. Most anyone with solid experience would laugh at the things you suggested.

Rat pups weigh too much for skinny imported emeralds to hold. I informed it was doing fine on mice but since it was skinny it would pose a risk to offer it a pup which weighs twice as much as a mouse. He said OK but emailed a week later to say it puked a pup and tried to force feed it abother pup. I said it would die. He said he will do what he is being advised there and would assume all risks. I said OK, but they will die.

How do you include photos on these posts?

Well there are 2 kinds of puke Chuck.

One is from a snake that is fed too large a meal and the other is the puke on the BOI.
