    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Daniel Haney/The Constrictor Zone sent me IBD

I don't have a vet report but I do have an e-mail that I saved to keep Dans address, in it he promises my refund. I'm not great with computers so I will foward it to someone if they know how to post it. That's the best I can do.

I truley believe that you saw a post a put on the BOI that i had a quarintined snake with IBD. I wanna see the lab reports done those tests are not fully confirmed at the Vet. The snakes are sent to a lab. So steve make all the violent threats youd like. I wont post again you recived that snake in November this is the first time Ive heard any BS from you. Dont go trying to edit my emails. I told you to provide proof and we would talk. Then you made threats and I told you what would happen if you showed up at my house where my family is. Im very serious about that.

then you need to get one. You stated you're willing to pay to fly out and visit Dan. You can easilly spend MUCH LESS than a plane ticket for the exam required. Do it.
 
Also a vet report can and possibly will help with any and all legal action to secure a refund.
I'm with the consensus here: Get that vet report ASAP!!!!!!
 
Without proof from the vet, I have to side with Dan on this one. You are making some SERIOUS accusations that need to have a vet report to back it up. This could affect ALL of Dans customers past and present. Even though he is not a well liked individual on Fauna he still deserves to have proof shown before he is presumed guilty. Since you are friends with the vet, have him come on here and post the necrospy findings or scan a copy of the lab results.
 
Proof may not be in the puding, but its in the paperwork. Definitely get some concrete info. Both for others and for yourself if anything legal results. Otherwise you are just committing libel/slander?
 
If the test was performed then there is a lab report somewhere. Given the seriousness of the accusations, it is pretty much a necessity that you post it here.

If you're such good friends with your vet he should have no problem providing you with the lab results.

Please, please, please, DON'T say he didn't get any. I've been using the same vet for over 15 years and he does lots of free stuff for me, runs my fecals, cultures when necessary, necropsies etc. On occasion he'll just do a freebie in which case there is not a charge or official paperwork BUT, I always get a written report to show what he did and what he found.

ANY labwork will have paperwork.

Unless of course he's got the new "at home IBD" test kit and, since that is merely a figment of my over active imagination, you really need to supply that report.

Slander is spoken, liable is written, for those who are confused.
 
If,

what the original post says is true, it would pretty much be a "Death Sentence" for Dan's business. Not just that he had/has an IBD problem, but if he knew about it, and sent out possibley infected animals on purpose, which is what the poster is implying, that would be about the worste thing you can do in the reptile business. THE ORIGINAL POSTER NEEDS TO GET THE VET REPORT, OR SOME EVIDENCE ASAP, OR RETRACT THE ORIGINAL POST. I am not a Haney fan, will NEVER purchase anything from him, (almost bought the pair of Arabesques from him against my better judgement, glad I did not)but the truth needs to come out one way or the other. As it stands now, it looks like the original poster "bailed".

i bought an adult hog island boa from him about 5 months ago. the animal was alright. a few problems i noticed though . it had a nose rub , which it still has, n ive been treating for some time now. It didnt come w a heat pack , so the animal was cold as ice when he arrived. n the animal is an incredibly picky eater. it duz have a good personality , n has been doing well for over 5 months now. definately not my best purchase ever , but not my worst either. o and he fed the animal , they day before he was about to ship it out , so we had to wait another week before he could ship it. from what this thing says , hes a pretty crummy guy though , im glad i didnt get too burned.

now i am not here to start a war with you , i did in fact send u an email stating that the animal had a nose rub when i received it. i was happy w your quick responses, and your packaging was great , besides the fact that there was no heat pack. i dont like being mean , n i dont like getting people angry , so i didnt state anything incredibly negative towards u ,n like i have previously stated , there werent that many things that were wrong , i was happy w the purchase , definately not the smoothest transaction , or the happiest i have ever been , but not the worst. and yes i did post the animal , but i fully intended to tell whoevr replied to the ad about the animals nose rub , which was there , though very minimal , when i got it , and it still has it. also if you noticed in the ad , i stated to email me for any further information , and this was included in that "further information" part. o and if u were the one who put my reputation level down , i am offended , because u didnt let me explain myself more so. I love the animal , he is alright , but there were problems. attached is the email sent to you from me.

Not looking to take any sides here, but the only thing that you contradicted was yourself. You posted in this thread that you weren't happy with the snake and it was poorly packaged, Dan linked to a post you made previously stating it was packed great and you were extremely happy.

You can't have it both ways, so which is it?

Also noticed in your Ad to try and resell the snake, you never mentioned it having a nose rub, why is that?

i already answered the question about the nose rub . and reading over my post , you are right , i did contradict myself in actuality. at the time , i guess i was just overly excited about the animal , n i knew the daniel was having some bad stuff start to circulate about him , so i just wanted to say something good about him. so in that way , yes i was lying. and to daniel haney , i am not against you, from all of the stuff that i hear , i should be , but im basing this on my personal opinion. it wasnt the best , but it definately wasnt the worst. i know of quite a few people who will back me up that i am a class act guy , and i was just trying to add my two cents , but i seemeed to have messed up here. my opinion , as of now , has already been stated , and if any1 wishes to confer with others on my legitatimacy , i will give u references. Im still growing in this hobby , and this has taught me not to rush in on posting things too fast , and i am glad that i have learned this. sorry of any offenses stated , i really just dont want to turn this into a flame war. thanx .
