As far as being an infectious disease, I quarinteen all new snakes, its still separate from my collection. I am only assuming here, as I'm no vet and she hasn't been to one but her "condition" hasnt changed I've just become aware of it and I've had the snake for two months now and I see no difference in her today than I did a mont ago when I finally decided I wasn't nuts the snake is!

Also he has a pic of it on his monarch exotics page and because I know what im looking at now, I can see it in the pic, its head is tilted and it looks like it just came down from wobbling around!

The last (4th) screenshot is what appears to be the Ad that the OP posted (which is one thing that, I think, was asked for).

That is not why you asked. It is not my job to "illuminate" anybody here. It's the OP's. And I had the courtesy to reply. It wasn't the answer you THOUGHT you were entitled to. The only reply that matters is the OP's and it was given.

Thank you pasodama for finding that and posting it, I'm not trying to hide anything here I just don't have the same skill level on my tablet as a computer, I feel like the guys in zoolander!!

What pasodama shared is Dave's attempt at damage control, I especially like his line " in this hobby I thought you needed proof lol" first of all this guy lols too much, why is that funny? and how can I prove he didn't say anything? Here is a blank audio file?

Pasodama also shared a portion of the ad I ran on reptiles canada , I don't deny it was an attempt to make dave look bad as I said there I gave the guy many outs before it came to that but he told me to do what I gotta do and I felt a couple of those ads were justified! The only part of the ad I see missing is two more pics, what I did was pick the snake up and turn it upside down , it doesn't roll right back over like a normal snake would so I got a couple of pics of that and posted the worst of them.

Someone asked for correspondence from me to the buyer, you can clearly read I disclose the snake is off and I went into further detail with him on the phone, it blew me away anyone even responded let alone was willing to take her! He told me he had a spider that's the same condition and has no plans on breeding so I cut him a good deal which meant a loss for me but I just wanted the snake gone to someone that knew and agreed to keep it as a pet only. also in return for the low price I asked that if he ever did part with the snake he is not to be a dick like Dave and must fully disclose the snakes condition, he replied she will live out the rest of her days with me as a pet and I was satisfied that I had done my part of informing him and I'm sure he knew what he would be receiving. Unfortunately last night I got an email from him saying his dishwasher broke and the wife said dishwasher before snake , which sucks but I understand, so I still have el wonko.

Keirh. I truly hope you learn something from this thread and apply it to future experiences you may have in the herp community. You may not realize it but you are being a potential enabler for scammers. I know it's not intentional. Let me explain. You advertised a snake with an unknown ailment of which you don't know the extent of. You are willing not only to sell it, but to take a stranger's word who could in turn sell it quickly with no disclosure. Doing your "part" of informing him would make you no less guilty if that snake changed hands and ruined someone's hard earned collection. Please don't take that risk. For your own benefit.

Its been here for over two months now, eats poops and sheds fine and now that I've researched the morph this is common, its just not for me! I will never own a spider because of this same issue but I do own this caramel and every time I open its tub its a reminder of being ripped off and it makes me mad, everyday! I work too hard at work, when I come home and deal with my snakes its my way to unwind but now with this constant reminder waiting to slap me in the face I find myself putting off what I used to do before doing anything! Honestly I got off work early today @ 130 and I still haven't done my daily snake business! This snake must go but how do you suggest I do it if not to a stranger? I plan on not letting it go without the buyer fully understanding the snake isn't right, I'm no vet but this isn't ibd or any disease, I've had it long enough if it were surely its condition would have deteriorated even a little but it hasnt! its the same today as the day I got it, now I'm just aware of it and pissed off about it!
I don't have many friends that are into snakes, the guys that are I got into the hobby and I don't want them to have to deal with it either!

So what do I do?

I am not sure what would be considered an acceptable amount of time to ensure it does not have an communicable disease but Im sure others will.
If it could be truly confirmed it is just what it is and not a spreadable disease then I see little harm in advertising it as such along with ALL of the facts to a genuine potential owner who will take it in and care for it as a pet only .
Sort of like finding a rescue for it?
And yes those people do exist, I have done so on several occasions , probably why I own way too many snakes right now...lol
Of course with the best will in the world, people will be people and even though they may say what you want to hear at the time, who knows what they may do with it after they take the snake from you

I can't tell you what you should do with it. You will most likely get feedback here regarding that. All I will say is that if I were in your shoes and wanted to sell it, I would definitely get a clean bill of sale from a vet first.
