This is from the ORIGINAL BREEDER of the female!
This is to everyone that has participated or viewed this thread over the past few days. My name is Rob Misiewicz and I’m the original breeder of the female that was the basis of this discussion. Around 10:20am this morning the dragon arrived back into my custody. She arrived alive and alert, looking at me like she might know who I am. Anyways, she has taken a bath and residing in her own enclosure. After she is 100% stabilized I will be taking her to the vet for blood work. I sent Lisa the remaining balance for the transaction, that JEFF sent to me Sunday. Jeff is the one refunding the total $280, NOT ME.
When I told Jeff I would buy her back from him, at what I sold her at, he refused. He wants me to keep the dragon at no cost to me. He is the one loosing his money here, no one else. I’m going to work something out with him because I feel that it is not his fault that all of this happened. To be honest it’s no ones! Jeff had a dragon, that to all of his knowledge, was 100% healthy. She was eating and gaining weight so he considered her healthy.
Jeff had no prior knowledge to what the “saggy eye” condition meant, neither did I, this is the first time I have heard what it can lead to, or what is already occurring inside the dragon. So if it did originate from Jeff or I, we were completely ignorant of the subject. I have gone through my whole collection and I have not seen “saggy eye” syndrome in my collection, nothing comes close to what I have seen here. Well actually, I do have one now, this female that I just received back, but the rest look good. I’m sure Jeff has closely examined each one of his animals and he can say the same thing, but you will have to talk to Jeff on that one. Now that I have been made aware of this condition I know I will be checking around forty eyes everyday to see if anything is developing, but I doubt it will.
Anyways I feel that this problem is solved. Lisa has her money back, I have the dragon and Jeff gave her Lisa her unconditional refund.
This next paragraph is for the people that wanted me to post and I was nowhere to be found. I was not hiding from anything that I am or stand for; I just don’t like to be caught up in the drama of these things. If you ask Lisa, Cheri, or Joe Regan I personally called them to talk about this situation over the phone for quite sometime. I put in well over six hours on the phone talking about this situation, so if you thought I was scare I wasn’t. I just hate the way these things can turn out on the boards, as everyone has seen. For some reason, people are always attacking or defending themselves when no real progress is being made. I prefer to handle these things over the phone or better yet, in person.
