In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Hello all!

Another Daytona Expo has come and gone and we had a blast! Chris and I drove Saturday morning to Daytona Beach and arrived at about 11. Charles at Masterpiece Geckos was the first gecko table I stopped at. He had some awesome hybinos and knobtails. Alberto and Mary were there as a part of Rare Geckos and had some great looking albinos and tangs, as well as all sorts of other gecko species including a killer albino knobtail that refused to come out of hiding for us until the very last hour of the expo. Albey had some amazing carrottails with nearly fully orange tails! Tremper displayed some of his new APTORS and RAPTORS, and it was very cool to see the new eye traits. Mack had snows and supers of course, and again, it was neat seeing the eyes. HQ Reptiles had some extremely nice juveniles as well as some equally impressive older geckos, 3 of which I decided I needed to take home.

In addition to all the beautiful geckos, I loved being able to see the progretion of the morphs in many other species. Ralph Davis had the very first albino piebald on display which was just breathtaking. Tom Burke's lipstick sunglows are some of the coolest boas I've seen. BHB showed an albino savanah monitor with a beautiful orange hue. Bob Clark's table always makes me contemplate owning retics. These are just a few examples of the many unique and amazing animals at the expo.

I also had the pleasure of meeting many of our fellow board members! Marcia of Golden Gate, Sam of Gecko Den, and Steve and Debra of Geckos Etc. (congrats guys!) I am sorry I was unable to meet Kelli, but we were all thnking about her and hoping she is doing alright. Marcia, sorry we missed you for Sat night, but we did end up eventually finding a hotel. Scary, but functional. LOL!

We went to a great seafood place with Matt and Susan at HQ and Dan and Roxanne Lubinsky. We all had a blast and Chris and I were happy to get to know you better. Dan and Roxanne, thank you for dinner! We really enjoyed ourselves.

So, that's my summary of our mini vacation. We got to enjoy the beach a little bit on Saturday night. I miss it already! Here are some pics of the new kids who came home with me Sunday night. Two red stripes, and a red stripe cross poss het albino. Hope you like! Anyone else have Daytona stories to share, or animals to show off? Please post! Take care everyone!

oooooo....I can't wait to see what's going to be at the Tinley show! I just hope I have some money to take a few home with me!

Jackie,

Thanks for the info on Daytona, I really wanted to go, but funds are low. Those are some nice Red Stripes you picked up!

By the way, do you happen to know what John Mack was selling his Mack Snows for?

Wow, I can't beleive he didn't lower the price for the show. That is why people go to the Reptile shows, to get them cheaper

Thanks...

Hearing from people who actually go to Daytona is the closest I think I will ever get to Daytona!
I can only imagine what those animals looked like in person. Did you take any pictures? How about anyone else?
Your red stripe collection is looking better and better every day! And your web site, WOW it is one of my favorites!
Thanks
Joyce

Sounds awesome ! Nice Reds ! Now to try to find a pic of an Albino Piebald :crazy03: and a large loan . LOL

Nice animals! I can only imagine what Daytona is like! One of these days!!!

Whoa ! I wouldnt have know you needed a permit , and certainly wouldnt have been very nice being suprised with that info or the cuffs :hehe:

Shanti!) You will be at tinley park? We will see you there! Will you have a table? Maybe we can meet up on one of the nights (we are staying both) and get a little dinner? It would be fun :) We will be walking around with Captive Creation shirts on ;) I loved last year!!! This year i am not bringing much money, splurged a bit too much this month ;)

Regarding the thread, one day me and Ed will fly down to Daytona. I can't NOT go to Daytona my whole life! But we are definatly waiting until the business is a little bit more off its feet. :) Those red stripes are gorgeous! And arrests? I'm gonna go read that thread...
