I'll agree with a lot of what you just said, but not the part about this being Chris' fault. While he took a risk by doing business this way, this was in no way, shape or form his fault!![]()
You are going to have to explain number 3 to me, sounds pretty stupid. Maybe you should keep on lurking...
Maybe it's just me, but the inherent risks associated with transactions such as an UNSECURED transfer of goods without payment...you're right, I'm dumb for thinking that the risk would fall on the OP...what was I thinking???
While I sympathize for the OP, I feel, in all honesty (which he has also admitted) that this transaction was a risk he was willing to take, and we all see what the outcome is. Not sure I can explain it any better than that.
I'll also reiterate that I hope Dean makes good on his promise to pay.
