idk, i called PayPal after they dismissed my claim and they weren't caving at all, they just kept on saying most sellers will settle and give your money back, basically said, look, a scam artist doesnt give the money back, no one robs a bank and then brings the money back the next day and says sorry, it doesn't work like that.

As I already said, once they dismiss your claim (or rule against you), they aren't likely to reopen it....you have to make it clear BEFORE they make a decision that the basis of your claim is purchased goods were not shipped by the seller. PayPal is a pain to deal with - no doubt about it, many things are best handled by speaking directly to customer service....but that process always leaves me wanting to stab my eyes out with a spork.

He claims that he will give store credit for another animal later this year. Kind of funny because in the classifides post he was selling all of his collection because he was not allowed to keep animals where he is moving.

Yeahhh I don't buy it. How does one gecko get purchased that many times? There must have been some sort of correspondence between seller and buyer. And if that was the issue that someone hacked his account, why not let people know before.. why now? He obviously is trying to save his butt!

I have these terms and conditions in place to protect myself incase of events such as these,

RIIIGHT, because it's so common for someone to hack into not just your paypal account, but also your pangea and fauna account in order to post geckos, get money from multiple sellers, AND steal the all of the money.

Did we confirm that the recent pictures of vegan cupcake were sent from the same cell number as the texts with me? I doubt his cell phone and Vegan Cupcake were ALSO stolen.

If you download a webpage and save it as an html file, it's just as much proof as a screenshot - both can be edited by the party who saves it. Corporal Ury will have to save the website himself if he needs 100% verified unedited proof.

This guy is out of his mind. There is far too much working against him for him to be able to pull off this claim of hacked accounts, stolen money, etc., etc.

I would subpoena some IP addresses if anyone received any emails. Paypal would have all the login IP addresses also and where the money went. In my experience there is no cost for a criminal/grand jury subpoena or search warrant served on Paypal. They have always been cooperative. BTW I may still have a phone number contact for a Paypal fraud investigator if Cpl. Ury is interested.

I got shot down......Let me clarify.

The investigating authority would be the requesting agency for any type of subpoena and/or search warrant. I think I made it sound that anyone would be able to do this and this is not true. Sorry for the mix up.

Also..... I believe his cell carrier is Verizon (according to fonefinder.net). Unless it has changed in the last few years, Verizon stores text messages in a 7 day queue. First in first out method over a 7 day period. So make sure you photograph any text messaging.

While he has used several IP addresses on this site, every single time this year he has only used 1. Every AD so far this year has come from the same place.

Someone hacked his email, fauna, pangea & paypal? Not bloody likely, unless of course he is an idiot & used the same user name and password for all.

This guy got over bad on A LOT of people. He worked the small community for all he could squeeze and is taking off - site down & he's read much of this (missin our Officer's input heheh). I think with the amount of money he's scammed the charges are getting SERIOUS for him. I hope with all my heart the Corperal pays him a personal visit. Kudos to you Sir for taking the extra steps to help with this bad guy. Your efforts are appriciated so much.
If this guy gets away with this he is SURE to repeat the hidious acts on new victims- er hobbyiests maybe somewhere "accross country". Him gettin nailed and making the info public will help deter this behavior a lil more I think. Part of the problem is the consequences are minimal for scammers online, identities are avail and disposable so when caught in their lie web and tangled they start fresh knowing very well most people do not take the steps to get them busted/sued. BOI helps others so much but someones gotta be a victim before others can be warned and that sucks. Every person involved needs to file a complaint with IC3, don't assume someone did- the more red flags the higher the priority for them.
I would also recommend writing up a scammer alert paragraph. Include his personal details-name-numbers-addresses- email addresses, a current picture (facebook or whatever) and a short! Explanation of how he's scamming thousands of dollars - THEN forward it to every News station website in Mass you can find. They are usually very HAPPY to run news clips of bad guys scamming so much money that live locally and sometimes they go and bother the bad guys for video statements on the "alligations" heh...let him answer to his home state too.

He may have been an intern/candy striper claiming to be a nurse but No board in Mass/Ct or New Hampshire has him on record that I could find either. Talking crap about what you're NOT is one thing. Posing as someone your not to gain access without education could be deadly...
