    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Dewey & Dewey Reptiles and Supplies, Eco Regional Animals, Andy Charek

That's pretty much everything, I posted as many as my replies as I possibly could.
For each email reply from myself I've posted I left out 3.
These are emails only and not including the hundreds of collect calls I've made.

I did reference him out, I googled him, nothing came up until I checked 3 days ago.
I did think he might be trying to pull a fast one, but due to me sticking my neck out and animals being ordered through me I stuck with him. Hope I will get my money back, but I'd still like the shipment.
 
Bad Experience with Dewey

I have had a few orders and it seems every order is a problem. First TWO times he neglected to put what I ordered and paid for in the box. Then b grade animals (sand fish, senegals and ornate niles). Ordered again, they credited me and chameleons came in looking bad. I am cutting my losses and going back to Cali Zoo and Ben Siegel and Outback. Sorry.
 
In my particular case

Not only did he use an oversized box which ran me twice the amount for the overnight, but he did not have 50 % of my order claiming that half the lizards escaped.. He could have called, but he did not. Nor email... To my surprise when I received the box, the invoice only reflected the items he shipped, when I checked my credit card, I was charged for the total amount !!!!!!
No phone call or email on this either..

That did not work to well for me. I called, no response other then a message machine... He (Andy) was at a pumpkin patch with the kids. That is the excuse he provided when he did call... By that time I had already charged back the entire amount.. That message I left !! I also advised him that I would be contacting his service provider (charge card) because he all of a sudden sent me a credit memo indicating that a card refund had been made, when in fact it was not. This I know for a fact because I asked him for the terminal recipt... He was unable to produce that because he never refunded the money....

He finally called and indicated that he now sent back the full refund, and that I can keep the shipment at no charge ! I was lucky, he was stupid ! Be very careful with this guy. He seems to screw everything up and he fails to realize that its not bad business its lousy business at its worst... JERRY
 
So I went through paypal dispute and I won the claim which they then said would take 7 days to process a refund.

2 days ago I recieved an email stating that 'achareks' bank account did not have sufficient funds to process my refund and to 'contact' andy charek.

All I can say is WOW. . .

Can anyone in So Cal help me out?!?!?
 
Thanks for trying for me Brye, I guess legal action is neccesary especially since he is not even willing to answer a phone call to explain himself.

He will get what's coming.

How can he sell anything when he gets removed from KS and reported to USFW for trying to ship CITES animals without permits. Must have forgot I have some incriminating emails he's sent me.
 
Yea, He used to be good, but I dont know whats gone on with his life that he's fallen like this.......

Has he been kicked from KS already? Or will be?
 
Will be, I don't know if certain events he described the day of the shipment were true but he said he tried to help me out by switching a pair of CITES chameleons for a different pair of CITES chameleons which were more expensive and rare and the shipment was held up. He apparently was going to be fined a large amount which wasn't my problem because he made that decision which he offered without my asking.

Should worry about how he's going to lose a lot more than the thousands he thinks he's taken from me.

I seriously wished I would have stumbled upon this thread about two weeks ago. This guy goes by so many 'business names' that it throws people off track just long enough to rip off more unfortunate people. I had forgotten about this site until an internet search involving his name directed me to this thread.


He has not been banned from kingsnake, unfortunately. That is where I had the misfortune of finding him. I sent him the money over a week ago, but haven't heard anything from him since. He refuses to return e-mails and phone calls.


Does anyone have any additional information on him that might help when I file my fraud claims against him? Like an alternate phone number, web site, etc? It seems that the linked websites have now been terminated. I'm giving him two more days to reply, and if I hear nothing, I will be posting a thread with the full details of my experience. For anyone thinking of doing business with this guy, don't! You'll receive nothing but heartache.
