    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

DNJ REPTILES in Amityville NY... Disgusting Store animals in Poor Health!

I have another question? If in fact it is as bad as you claim why didn't you take pictures. 99.9 percent of cell phones have cameras and video. Did the store wrong you in some way that you felt this was gonna get even.
 
I wonder can any of this have to do with multiple burms, Retics, African rock, anaconda, western diamondback, Camain, gator, false water cobra, or Nile monitors that were illegal for you to own and D&J refused to purchase from you when you needed to get your illicit collection out of your home? Can any of this have to do with the fact that D&J reptiles refused to sell you venomous snakes when you were both unlicensed and unqualified? Is it even remotely possible that all of this has to do with the fact that you purchased (at a discount!!!!) a misting system that a D&J employee employee kindly enough came to your house to set up then attempted after using it for 3 months to repackage and return for full price and you were refused? Or maybe it's the fact that after all of this Doug finally had enough of your grimy ways and banned you from the premises. I wonder... Can any of this be the cause of all of the negativity that is being spewed on this forum by someone who on his own Facebook page clearly RECOMMENDS D&J Reptiles!!!! I wonder....
 
I can attest that Joshua is correct in regards to the animals the OP was trying to sell. All of his ads have been deleted from fauna, but did exist for those particular animals.
 
And so it's said openly. ANYONE is welcome to come in and take photos at any time. This place is PRISTINE. D&J has been servicing the reptile community for over 15 years!!! Does that sound like the track record of a dirty place with mistreated animals?? Funny what one disgruntled asshole thinks he can accomplish by posting cheap on an online forum

And there we have it! Some will say a disgruntled person using the BOI for a personal vendetta is a problem with this site, but these people always end up getting exposed and end up making themselves personna non gratta in the process.

In the interest of keeping the story accurate: retics, burms, afrock, yellow anaconda, false water cobra, and Nile monitors - yes. Western diamondback, gator, and caiman - no...at least not here.

Gotta love how a story changes when both parties are present...
 
Ill be here if anyone has any questions regarding D&J or any of these crazy accusations. I'm going to assume that the exposed no longer will be. Thank you again to all of our customers and loyal supporters
 
Whether you are on the disgruntled side or the gruntled side, I think that a few photos taken in the next day or two of the store and posted up here would be a good idea, if you are nearby and can do that.
 
Yikes. Does OP actually live in NJ and planned to transport the burms/etc. across state lines too? That's pretty darn shady if true.
 
U know what I don't disagree with you however I believe that since such strong accusations were made the burden of proof falls with those who made it. As stated earlier any and all are welcome to come whenever they like and take pics and form there own opinion
 
It's a shame how easily a person can try and ruin someone with an honest business. Reminds me of Government when they ruin someones life just for the hell of it.
 
@BURMGUY79 first and foremost I would like to mention I did join this forum after reading the post you made on the DNJ Facebook page, but that doesn't cloud my judgment in any way, shape or form. While, I have not been to the store in several weeks. I was there when it first opened, last year, and have been there on a bi-weekly basis. It is always kept clean and the owner, Doug along with his staff is very knowledgeable and very helpful as well as considerate with all my 11 year old sons questions and concerns about his animals. The store was clean and neat and very well stocked with items that we needed for our nine reptiles. The alligator and turtles in the front pond are a fantastic attraction. The staff was always helpful and took the time to interact with my son. For you to say people should go to Repoxtica makes me believe you are working for them or delusional. I have been to that tiny storefront reptile store, it is packed with product and most of the animals are in small cages.

You can't even compare the two.

I wonder why moderators of the site can't delete obvious vendetta threads like this? I don't think any person/business likes a thread with their name and a thumbs down as the initial thread. Is Jimmy Gorman still part of this business? Always like him. Got the best stuff from Indo from his brother.
 
Tom, this has been covered time and time again in the BOI. What is written in the BOI stays in the BOI, for better or for worse. Things are never deleted... think about all the legal risks the moderators would put themselves through if they deleted or edited anything in the BOI. By keeping things as is, the evidence is there for all to see, and no one can accuse the moderators of playing favorites in personal or business disputes.
