    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

    Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

    Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Info Doc Walker, reptidoc, Dr. Daryl G. Walker = buyer beware

Yep, I will post updates as I see how he progresses. Thank god I have my friend who is willing to quarantine in his house. I don't want him anywhere in my house-not even in my quarantine area!

I always have a mixed up bucket of nolvasan ready to go when I have to deal with any of the new babies. Thank goodness that I have a son who is willing to help he hold, clean and dunk and then rince everything... himself included :) I know most ppl use bleach but I cant and I think nolvasan works just as good if not better than bleach and doesnt stink like bleach does :)

I look forward to seeing your new baby reptilebaby! I am sure that with all this going on, that Doc will sit up and take notice and not send you something you can come here with! I think you will get a really nice well taken care of baby... then he will probably ask you to do a good guy thread for him LOL

I asked him if I can post the pics he sent me but he said he'd rather send me some better pics when he's done shedding. I guess he was preparing to shed in the pics he sent already.

I wouldn't have a problem saying that, if it ends up being healthy, that it was healthy....but that wouldn't be for a few months at least, until I would KNOW or be able to drive 4 hours to our closest reptile vet. And I intend to take him but it will not be able to be right away.

how odd. We have all seen and taken pics that werent star quality and in blue. Maybe he just doesnt want us ALL takeing a look??

Dee, do you mind listing what morphs or normals and their hets? Sexes also?

Thanks and sorry for your loss. Oh and take a look at the remaining babies, if they have really soft stomachs "mushy" then they are likely doomed also. Another tell tell sign is the gal bladder, if it is really dark and visible in a hatchling, he is not going to make it no mater what you do.

We look forward to your reply

He said he wants me to have pics of him when he looks his best(I thought the pics looked really good-I couldn't detect any preparation for shedding in them.) not saying that's bad, just I thought that he was beautiful!

I guess we will not ever see what Rich and Doc talked about. Makes you wonder how bad things are at Doc's place.

If you read that original post I made here with my speculation, then you will see what I discussed with Doc. He sent me a couple more PMs, to which my replies were pretty much inconsequential. Since my PM to Doc was made as a personal message instead of a public post, there were some minor differences with it. And of course, I embellished it a bit, since it was destined for public viewing and I tend to be a lot more wordy in public posts than private conversations. But the private message I actually sent to Doc is this:

Doc,

I know it's really none of my business, but I really hate to see you coming under fire like you are lately. I read the latest thread and the fist thing that popped into my mind concerning those animals Dee received was "malnourished". Level with me, please, how often are you feeding your babies? It sounds to me that you are just not feeding them enough. If you are feeding them 10 days or longer between meals, they will kill them for certain. A slow lingering death, but death nonetheless. The optimum feeding schedule is roughly every 5 days, but I did 7 days and got by OK, they just grew slower than they could have. I got overwhelmed with numbers. Although I would have LIKED to have fed the babies more often, it kind of boiled down to how many could you REALISTICALLY feed every day to keep them ALL fed. When that number started reaching 300 or better per day, then it started to get away from me. I produced 8,000 babies one year and knew I could never do that again. There wasn't enough time in a day to feed them all on a reasonable schedule. That's also when I started bulking out a LOT of stuff, right out of the egg to reduce the numbers as quickly as possible.

Over the years I have talked to countless people who would feed their babies every two weeks, and they wondered why they died on them. Baby snakes just need to be fed OFTEN.

Anyway, hope I am not intruding, but I just wanted to throw my thoughts out at your.

Hope things turn around for you with this stuff. But my opinion is that yes, you do have a problem on your hand. But it may all just be a husbandry issue that is fixable.

Take care,

Rich Z.

He asked me if he should carry this conversation to the BOI and CornSnakes.com, and I made this comment:
WebSlave said:
How about I post my private question to you publicly in that thread?

Rich Z.

He then asked if I would post his PMs here, to which I replied:
WebSlave said:
I will only post my part. Posting someone else's words on the BOI is not a policy that I want to encourage by my own example. I'm sure you understand my thoughts on this.

Rich Z.

He then asked if I would post our dialog, which was really just my initial post, so I replied with this:

Doc,

I made that post I indicated at 9:01 pm. Guess you must have missed it...

Rich Z.

So there you have it. That's the entirety of my side of that conversation.

I sure can! :)
1.1 Hypo Stripe (Het Amel/Amber) === male died
1.1 Hypo (Het Amel/Sunkissed/Stripe)===female died
1.1 Hypo (Het Plasma)=====both Dead!
This is the list I got of the ones from Doc Walker. I also put the ones that passed. Unfortunately all felt mushy at the time of arrival. the last 2 did eat so I have a little hope. Not much because of how they felt but a little. I did look for tell tail of the gallbadder and some did have a marked green but I had hope. I still have a tiny bit for the 2 that ate but... in all honesty? I wouldnt be shocked if they didnt make it. I cant make up for the time before they got here.

I'm curious about something here... Sorry if I've missed it somewhere. Are these deaths only occuring in neonates? Has anyone purchased adults from Doc that had similar symptoms prior to death?

Not that I am really aware of. Its all babies that are passing. The only thing I have heard about older snakes is that they are super small for the ages they are supposed to be.

I have seen one bashed because they are not American and hence thier english is not that good

Thank you Bob now the true came out, by that time I am so mad look like I am making up story and left bad feedback about him. Like he said how nice he was treat me but my English got problem??? same way how he treat Dee but not true all good thing on his side and we are the one who giving him problem.

Can't you usually see dark spots in light colored babies? I was told that for the light ones it's normal, but not generally the darker ones.

I have seen that too but I am not like that at all :) Its simple for me... if I dont understand? I ask and reask until I do! Thank you for coming back and letting us know how you were treated. I am sorry that it happened to you. Maybe I have a little different view on some things?? I had a bf from France and his english was bad when we first met too :) Maybe because I have an easier going nature and dont let most things bother me? but when something does bother me and in this situation, I want others to know what has happened as well so that others arent put in this situation.
