In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Angie I do not know if you are familiar with this site but it has some really top notch breeders and terrific advice:

Yes, I agree as well! One of them is crotalis40741, Bob Brown. I got 2 big healthy babies from him in the beginning of Nov. Beautiful lil boblings. I plan on getting more from him next season as well!

I've never been to that site before. I will have to go there!
I got some of mine from Kathy Love. I LOVE her snakes! I bought my first corn snakes that I ever got from a breeder from her.

Please join us on Cornsnakes.com, Angie! Kathy Love is one of us, and posts frequently! It's a very friendly site and we'd love to see you there.

Yup, he's as active as ever, and still has good tone, weight, and everything. :) My friend told me he is looking for more food today, but I said we can try feeding him tomorrow.

The last little baby I got from Doc, who had actually eaten twice for me.... I went to feed tonight and found her dead. SO.... no more babies here from Doc and no more in the future either.

I am sorry to hear that it died, it is a shame when something like this happens and death is expected. I truly hope this is a wake up call for the breeder, but somehow I doubt it is. The reptile industry in a whole comes under enough bad feelings and fears without something like this to continue to happen and put us under an even darker cloud.

I totally agree. On both accounts. Doc will never ever comment more on what the problem may be or what he is doing to try to fix it. Plus, snakes really do get a bad rap. Just because they are cuddly little furry puppies or kittens. I dont get why ppl have to be so freaky about snakes. I used to be very scared of them but I could atleast admire their beauty..... seems ppl these days cant even do that. I understand the fear but I dont understand the hatred.

I'm so sorry about your losses :(

wow, thats awful. I am truly sorry to hear about the little one. It makes me very sad. I was one of those people who used to hate snakes, was terrified of them. Until I held one at a reptile expo. Bought her on site, now I love them. And she is actually very affectionate, she loves to be held! I hope this doesn't deter you from snakes and that you can find some great healthy ones in the future!

I am so sorry to hear about the last baby.:(

Losing a hatchling, here or there, is expected but, with Doc's hatchlings, the amounts/circumstances (via what has been reported by some customers) is beyond the norm.
It is rather evident that a problem exists.

I hope Doc takes this problem seriously and actually takes some major steps toward finding, and rectifying, whatever has been causing the problems.
If he doesn't, or is unable to, he may want to consider getting out of breeding/selling, altogether, since it is not right to be selling ailing/dying animals to unsuspecting customers ... and an injustice to all those poor hatchlings as well.

Fingers crossed for the best outcome (whichever it may be).

I'm sorry Dee. :(

I know you don't blame yourself, but I just want to say that you did everything right. Even though she ate for you, if these babies really were starved that long, then she probably already had major organ damage that couldn't be fixed.

Honestly, this is just disgusting.

hehe I have had corns for about 20 years, breeding for about 6 years and still have about 50 so, no, this wont deter me any. But it does make me really mad. I have done some really good business with so many great ppl... both buying and selling. Most ppl are really proud, includeing myself, about provideing really nice animals who thrive from the first day someone else gets them. I, for the life of me, cant understand how Doc can live with himself selling all these dying babies.

yes it is. I had Really hoped that even tho when I got her she was weak and mushy, that maybe just maybe I had gotten her on time. Was heart breaking to find her last night. I hadnt really had her all that long to be really attached but I was still looking forward to getting to know her better and see a real personality come from her and watching her grow. Makes me sick! Doc should be so very ashamed of himself!!!

SORRY FOR YOUR LOSS!!!!

Dee, Sorry to hear that the last Doc snake did not make it.:( Unfortunately I know the feeling from my experience last year with Docs snakes. Did he offer to refund your shipping and/or give you some kind of refund for the value of the snakes you won in the raffle, only to end up with NOTHING!:censored:

yes, he paid back the shipping but was very upset about doing so. Said that he was out that And the snakes he donated. So, he ended up with nothing..... Well, me too! So, I guess him and I are even. We are both where we began because if I couldnt make the snakes live, neither could he have.

thank goodness for the ones I got for Candace! :) They are big, beautiful and eat like champs :)
