Inquiry Does anyone know [email protected]

I got an email from this guy about buying some snakes I had listed for sale. We emailed and he "promised" me he was going to pay for the mojave. Then today he emails me and says he wants 2 females but isn't going to get the mojo. He asks me to give him a total and he will pay pal me right away. I did and haven't heard from him at all. I should have trusted my first instinct, but was giving him the benefit of the doubt...
Does anyone know this person???

my phone died that day and i ended up buying the snake from this person, and they never told me that they posted this! then i asked if they can remove it because i did keep my word, and i was told when the paypal e check clears they will remove it! so with that said i cancled the e check

It doesn't matter if you bought her snake or not, her inquiry will not be removed from the BOI. She can post that you followed through on the purchase, but she can't remove her initial inquiry.

Collin, it was just an inquiry. To say I will pay you right this minute and then nothing, an inquiry is not entirely unreasonable. Your phone died. Ok that's fine. Maybe the OP should have waited a day at least to post this but the point is, it isn't a bad guy thread in any way.

Buy getting offended enough to cancel payment, you made yourself look bad.. Had the transaction gone through, the OP would have publicly announced that on this thread. It would have actually turned into a good guy thread in a way. Plus, you would have had your email here and people would remember you as a legit buyer.

By doing this, you have showed impatience. Really both of you did. Sellers do not sell to impatient people or vindictive people.

So let's look at the progression here

1. You locked in an animal on the 13th and promised a deposit. Even asked for more pics!
2. You never sent said deposit
3. On the sixteenth you backed out on the original purchase and asked for two more animals.
4. You then promised to send payment "right this minute" and six hours later you still had not.
5.You now say you eventually sent the money by E-Check but a couple of days later when you realized they had posted an inquiry and would only correct it after the Echeck cleared, you canceled the Echeck and backed out on the entire transaction after jerking the seller around for the better part of a week?

This thread is well deserved Collin.....you earned it.

Incidentally, nothing gets deleted from the BOI...it's here to stay

Well funny you should mention that..I listed some snakes for my friend as she is moving, and you make me an offer to buy a snake that was already sold for more money. I said no and you then promise to buy the male mojave. I asked you for a deposit and you said yes, but then you never send it. This was on Sunday the 13th as seen here:

Then you say you will send me a pay pal right away... but you didn't so I send out an inquiry several days after the first promise of a pay pal deposit, not right away. I did this because I needed to know if you were serious, as there were several people interested and you had already burned me once. It wasn't a bad guy thread, although now I wish it was.
I also got this email from another seller who was inquiring about the buyer who saw my inquiry thread. I co-incidentally got the email from the buyer saying that he was canceling the pay pal right after I got this.

All 4 of them were imported by David Fernandez, and I have had them since they were babies. Mr. Fernandez no longer imports captive hatch, so this kinda stuff has gotten very tough to find. I'm nuts for even thinking about letting them go without proving them out myself. I genuinely think all have serious potential, if put to the right morph to bring it out.

Asking price is $300 each, and that's firm. (Doesn't include shipping.)

In order of pictures:

2009 male. I have a normal female he's been breeding since October that is well on the way to producing some eggs from him this year, so he might be proved soon. I would consider a package deal on the two of them.

2009 female.

2008 female.

2008 female.

Females are over 1200 grams minimum, and the male I haven't weighed lately but he's an eager breeder. They eat FT rats.

Colin, you would feel welcome and wanted if you would have done the right thing and finished the transaction.. You still have that ability. And I will gladly say you are a good guy for doing the right thing and not screwing over my friend who lost 2 sales on these animals because you wanted them.
However, by being underhanded and deciding to cancel a transaction shows me you really have no desire to do this...

I will leave it up to you... finish the transaction and I will post a good guy thread personally and show everyone on the BOI that you are a person of your word? Or leave it as it is......

seriously? welcome to the hobby of selling snakes. You will get hundred hey I will take it and then maybe 1 guy will actually send the money. Are you really going to make 100 posts about every single person that says they will take it then never sends the money? I have sold and traded a couple animals. I have a posotive BOi and trader feedback. I had people show up at my house to look at my snakes then tell me hey on friday to never show up or beat around the bush that i felt I was wasting my time. IMO you give somebody 24 hours to send money or move on to the next buyer. Too many people will waste your time.

No reason to make a big fuss of nothing. This is what happens in the retail world in anything. Window shoppers galore. I have done it myself. Im sure many people have done it as well. You get excited jump the gun and then realize maybe I shouldnt buy this snake or car. Welcome to the selling part of the hobby. It can suck but you will sell the snake to somebody else who truly wants it.

I read this post while in the middle of a deal with Collin, and hoped it would work out and he would come through on our deal.

He agreed to buy my Sulfur Mojave male at the begining of Feb., the proven breeder, for $1500. He sent a token deposit and I marked him as Pending. I keep in touch with a couple of emails to him asking if he wants me to feed the male or try and keep him in breeding mode. He responds back. A couple of weeks go by and I send him another email just updating him on things. Today, I email him again, and he sends back two emails, one is asking if I will now take a partial trade on the Sulfur Mojave. I responded that all I was interested in trading for was a Champagne Het Hypo male. He responds back like all is well. I then get an email from him a few hours later saying he will not be following through with our deal.

I think things happen in life where you commit to buying something and things change, but now, it looks like Collin has developed a trend of commiting to buy a snake and then backing out. I will not be doing business with him again, for this reason.

David, i sincerly apologize for pulling out of our deal. I do not want to be know as a "deadbeat buyer" if there is anyway i can fix things between you and i, i would greatly appreciate it. I can not come up with 1500.00 right away. I said i would pay you shortly after you pulling the sulfur mojave off the internet, and because i dident i felt like i wasent keeping my word by not doing so. That is the reason i told you i wasent going to be able to come up with the money, that way you wouldent loose out on a sale while you waited for me. By doing that i did exactly what i dident want to do and that is screw you. My intentions were good, but clearly not well planned out. i apologize for putting you through that, and like i said if there is anything i can do to fix this please let me know.
