In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy DON'T SHOP AT HURRICANE EXOTICS!

No fault lies with the seller here. 100% of the blame and all associated issues lie on the buyer. The correspondences make this clear.

In most cases, receiving a larger animal is actually a bonus, because larger animals tend to cost more. If you did not have adequate housing for your bearded dragons, this is on you, not the seller. Created a new temporary bearded dragon from a large plastic tub and heat lamp would probably cost all of $50 at the most. If you can't afford this, you shouldn't have any bearded dragons. At the very least, you should've had a quarantine tub.

Adam is right, using total length as the sole metric of size on a lizard does not work. By your own metric, if the last 1.5" of the tail was chopped off, then the lizard would've fit your obscure definition of "juvenile."

To summarize:
- You purchased an animal. The seller gave you an animal that was within the expected size RANGE for that age class, regardless of your opinion.
- You did not quarantine the animal.
- You placed the animal with other animals so "they could meet."
- The new animal killed your other animal.
- You blame the seller.
- You (falsely) threaten you have an attorney to try to bully a refund from the seller.
- People try to explain why a lack of quarantine and cohabitating bearded dragons is a problem. You respond with insulting, ad hominem attacks.

Justin, ignorance is curable. We tried to give you the benefit of a doubt, but your lack of maturity and lack of ownership with a problem you created is not shedding a positive light on your character.

Obviously I was just angry btw my girls lizard just got Merked
I was trying to get this guy to lend a helping hand instead of being super rude
Of course I wasn't going to try and get a lawyer involved I'm just about broke
But guess what
You guys think yout hurting my feelings
But I'm just an honest dude that started this thread to warn you guys about this dude
I'm trying to help the world but because in the middle of doing so I was honest and posted my mistake
Now all you guys are trying to kick me in the teeth
That's cool do aND say what you want
I know what happened and so does Adam or whatever his name is
And everyone else involved
And after all your mean and rude comments towards me I'm not gonna wish hate on you guys
I'm over it
You guys are gonna think what you want regardless of what I say
Just leave here with one thing in mind
What goes around goes around karma is real my friends
Go ahead and buy from this dud and when the same thing happens to you don't say I didn't tell you
So in the end conclusion
For trying to set things right and help the "community" I ended up getting bashed for it
It's all good I spoke the truth 100% of the time while you guys put me on the stand
Did I get angry because it was 30 against one for trying to do the RIGHT thing
OF COURSE
Just the same as any of you
Well
I guess this is it guys
You bashed me and the truth came out
A guy that was pissed off because he got something he didn't pay for and tried to get a dragon the size I originally requested
Wooooopppideeeeedoooooo
Stick a knife in my eye jeez
Bottom line no matter what you say
False advertising is a crime
And this is a case of it
Yes my lack of experience was paid at the cost of my dragon
But we live and learn as I was reminded today
I'll admit you guys got under my skin and got the best of me
It won't happen again
I just hope that if something like this happens to you
The outcome isn't what mine came to be

GOODNIGHT FROM CALIFORRRRNIAAA

I don't see any fault with the seller. The OP has done a fine job showing off his own ignorance and obstreperous attitude. I think everyone would do well avoiding him like the plague.

Am I correct that "joke" ad listed the beardie at $375 and the original ad from HE was $175? So he jacked up the price by $200 all of a sudden?

When you think that everyone is a jerk except yourself, you're probably the jerk. Just saying.

Ah, I think the purchased beardie in question is different from the sale beardie. I assumed they were the same one. Looks like the one for sale was a female. My bad.

Well, in any case, future buyers/sellers will be enlightened about this OP, since he has helpfully posted this thread showing how he conducts himself.

Dennis, I think that also shows that he fully knew the size of the dragon before introducing it to his female, lmao. So, completely delusional, not the brightest penny in the pocket, poor attitude, and now we know he's a flat out liar as well. Should we add some more redeeming qualities to the list, Justin, or are we done for now?

Why didn't she mention in that post that he killed her dragon? And why doesn't she mention that he will be bred with her dragon, the one that died, too? Wasn't that the plan? Isn't that why they met each other? If they were planning on housing them together that is what would eventually happen. Seems funny to me that she never even mentions that dragon.

So we are happy with the purchase? I count five, which one was killed?

Sorry but no, you are NOT an "honest dude" at all. You lied in black and white about that lawyer to try to intimidate the seller into jumping through whatever hoops you wanted him to jump through. That, in my book, is NOT honesty at all.

I strongly suggest you look up that word "honest", because it appears you do not understand what it actually means.

Good luck in your business ventures in the future.

Stalk much Dennis ?

Mr. Almeida

What would have you done if the animal would have been what you ordered? Of course you would have not quarantined it, but you know that dragons can be very anti social. If it was what you ordered, you would have to get the second cage away. A group of females, you can get away with, but males can be bullies. I don't own or know anything about them, and I know that.

Care to comment on your fiancee knowing Buddy's length on October 28th but you saying you didn't know how big he was until after he killed the other dragon. I mean, saying that you didn't know does mean that you cannot look at two objects and determine which one is bigger, a task typically asked of infants learning to speak, but what the hell.
