I have been waiting to get back the majority of responses from the Top tier breeders before posting this and now that all opinions are leaning the same way..
Long and short of it, I bred this female last year and she did not produce. I kept her out of the cycle this season because she had not been eating like I thought she should and the health of my animals always comes first. she then suprises me with a clutch of 8 completely fertile eggs. Had to go back to my paper records, switched to herp software not too long ago, and see I had bred her to my cinny male. Wasn't too excited as i already had a few possible cinny clutches in the works.
After the first baby pips we start cutting and I am am happy to see some very nice cinnamons and what appeared to be exceptional normals. The last egg cut i glanced and wrote off as cinni when my wife took a better look and stated "Honey, I don't think that's a cinny..". So I look again and from what little i can see start wondering how the heck a pewter got in there. Well when he crawled out..pewter went out the window. Have sent and sicussed pics with Ralph Davis, Justin kolbylka, Greg Graziani, Sloan reptiles and Sam (aka bones93) and noone can identify my new boy and opinion is leaning towards mom being a possible new genetic. Enough talkin, here are a few pics.
