In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Doug Parsley - pslsnakes

Steve, I have it posted in my BOI thread along with all of the research donation info if you're interested. I don't want to derail Doug's thread and go into anything here. Thank you though...to you and everyone else for all of your help over the past weeks.

Well i very seldom weigh in on threads that dont concern me but i believe that Steph and Doug have made the best of the BOI (providing that he send her what is owed in Sept.) this is a prime example of what this site was put in part to do good work to all the parties that are invovled

Doug has completed the first half of our agreement. The Spider male was safely received this morning. :)

 :yesnod:

I'm glad he got there safely. He wasn't too cold was he? All I could find at the store was one of those cold packs for a sore back and stuff. That pack got cold the first few minutes, that's why I used that layer of rosin paper over it.

He's fine. Like I said, I'd prefer a cool snake over a cooked. He's been exploring his bin all morning, so I don't think he's any worse for wear from shipping.

I'm sorry to say that Doug has not fulfilled the last part of our agreement. I have tried to contact him twice in the last two months and have received no response.

Just an FYI, the Spider had mites. You should probably treat all of your snakes.
How is the Cinny clutch doing?

Have read receipt for the above pm with a date of 09/18/08.

Hello Doug,
I know you read my pm to you on 09/18. Any news on the Cinny clutch or a comment on the Spider having mites?
Look forward to your response. :)

Do not have a read receipt for this one cause I didn't know I had to reclick that button when the forum upgrade happened.

So, for $460 (I paid $40 shipping for the snake to get up here), I got a mite infested yearling that was around 300g on arrival. I'm very disappointed in Doug. :(
