I never meant for this to hit the BOI lol. My investigation into Jay's credentials started because of him sitting on his throne at Bob's site calling me childish names and closed minded for not agreeing with him that BD does not exist. It exists and I'm by far not the only person in this hobby that has seen and dealt with it. Closed minded goes both ways Jay. How about you open your eyes?

While it is true that once Med school is completed with a passing a grade, a person becomes a doctor, but to call themselves a physician when they have no license and to hand out medical advice under the title of Doctor is a crime. While he may have his degree, he has not completed his resident training and even that Temporary license to TRAIN is not current. Yet he continues to play doctor. He has falsly exagerated his title and experience on many occasions and I was under the impression as were many that he was an established fully fledged physician. Imagine my surprise when there was no License on record in any state anywhere near where he resides. I am at least relieved to know that he at least apparently did attend med school. So he isn't a total fraud but to at least some degree a fraud none the less. No one is perfect. Especially online people tend to be who they want to be sometimes.

I personally don't have anything against Jay other than now and then finding posts he makes attacking me personally, resorting to name calling and insults about things he knows nothing about. Spouting out that I don't have proof to back what I say when I have indeed presented plenty...yet he doesn't prove me wrong either...where is your proof Jay? Deleting my posts and calling me stupid is hardly proof. I thought that behaviour odd for someone of such a profession and it just didn't jive. So I took a couple of days and looked at every public record I could find on the subject and was disturbed that he has never held a license to practice medicine on any state board.

Dr Owens and I have had our differences, but I know that he is not a liar.

There was a time that He and I went back and forth. Well it was not really him but other mods on BCF. But Jay answered all my emails and never once was rude in them.

To try to call him out on something like this is wrong IMO. I have never seen him tell someone I will write you up a perscription take this this many times a day. I have seen him help someone that has been bit by a snake and needs advise on how to treat it. IMO that is being helpful. Not breaking a law.

For the license, it is useless.
It can not be verified or denied without the number visible. Let's see a diploma from an actual school that can be verified as having you in attendance.

Anyone can mail order any form or certificate to show whatever degree they want and with this one having the number blotted out as well as no authorizing signature, stamp nor a possible notary seal etc, is unprovable either way.

I have never seen someone with such a lack of understanding of the medical field post such rubbish in my life. You are a doctor when you finish medical school. Whether you have a valid license is irrelevant. It is the same as a teacher. Just because a teacher may not have a license in one state, or it has expired does not stop that person from being a teacher. Will they have to get re certified YES do they have to go back to school to BECOME a teacher again??? HECK NO. It seems to me that you have some type of axe to grind. And, the fact that you would brandish it here on a public forum that sets out to keep people from getting ripped off seems rather ironic. I also believe that you have done what you set off to do, and that is to make sure no one deals with you or your constituent again. Jeeze, I've been teaching high school students in the state of Arizona without a teaching certificate, I guess there needs to be a thread about me on the BOI too! Imagine all those posts I've made where I've mentioned I'm a high school teacher... obviously I'm a bad guy, looking to get free snakes and using false information to do so. (Someone did send me a kinked snake along with a few snakes I paid for, so I guess I HAVE gotten a free snake after all!)

How does this help spread your cause about the so called BD issue? All you're doing is discrediting yourselves and your cause. You are absolutely correct. I went to Chiropractic school (and graduated) prior to going to medical school. Since you brought it up, this is the primary reason that I attended an Osteopathic medical school rather than an allopathic medical school. For those that don't know, DO's are trained in spinal manipulation similar to what a Chiropractor does. By going to a DO school, I was able to continue my training and refine my skills in physical medicine to a much greater degree than if I had attended an allopathic medical school.
