In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

    =====================

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy Dragons and Tails

Ok guys, I just noticed that another fauna member inquired about a dragon on one of her latest ads, and then after that, Dennis Hultman responded with "buyer beware", and a link to this thread.

It is a very bad that she apparently saw that, deleted the ad, started a new one, LOCKED it, and on top of that, she lowered the prices on some of her animals... I know it's not really any of my business what she asks for her animals, but lowering the price after being called out and locking the new thread is saying that she is wanting to get them moved before a potential buyer sees this thread. At least that's how it's appearing to me...

Well, I hope buyers check her out here first then!

She has an unlocked thread up right now for beardies :ack2:

*ACK*

Must have taken lessons from Ed... :shrug01: we can only hope that any buyer of hers checks the BOI before paying for some of those new rare beardies that die before you get em out of the box. I feel for the poor miss-treated beardies...

BAD seller... no..NO... that's a bad bad seller! (Where's my rolled up newspaper?)

This is what she sent to me and how I responded.

You dont even know what really happened with that situation. That woman made up alot of crap, like I put two heat packs in the box and a bunch of other studd thats untrue. Before you go and try to post on everything that I do, mind the fact that I am selling my collection tryign to find good homes for them, and your preventing that?! Another moderator told me to close the thread so I can find good homes for them so people cant post bad things on it. Why dont you just give people a break and find out a little more on both sides before choosing one. All those other people are in the same situation.

I know you promised to send a refund even if all that you posted above is true. You haven't that by far goes to your credibility then anything else.

Give you a break? I think we all did. This BOI thread has been pretty easy on you, comparatively speaking. You are buying animals left and right while getting rid of your "collection". Some of the animals that you are requesting are no less difficult to take care of then the ones you are trying to sell as fast as possible. Your stated reasons of why, hold no water. They make absolutely no sense. Considering you are also starting a Tegu breeding business, I call your statements ridiculous. The bottom line is you stated you were going to give a refund and you didn't. That makes you untrustworthy and calls all your statements into question.

No, I am preventing people buying from a untrustworthy person who states she is going to send a refund to her customers and doesn't.

I think it is important to your customers to know that you will not take care of them if a problem happens. That you might state that you will, but then you go back on your word. I would do the same for anyone. Your Welcome, for informing others of this lousy practice.

This whole situtation has been misled over where it should have been.
Honestly to everyone, I LOVE my dragons. I just started out breeding probably a year or so ago, and im still learning. Through learning I have failed and suceeded, and yes I made some mistakes, and even in this situation I apologize to you Jessica, and others who ive upset by this. I shipped the dragons out too early, I should have waited until 6-8 weeks but I shipped out before then. Im not going to sugar coat anything. I screwed up and I apologize to everyone. I have some very beautiful dragons I am rehoming, and I was getting out of dragons BEFORE this whole thing started, for now. I cant afford to take care of them and give them the attention they deserve. So im going to find great homes for them, and when I move to a bigger place they will be living in heaven and I will make new rules with my breeding to ship out at 8 weeks. I have never had any health problems with my dragons. Sometimes dragons dont make it. My mistake was shipping them early. I did not place two heat packs, not even one, I swear to this. This is what upsets me is she is taking things way out of hand and this is a lie. I hope you all can work with me and hear me out, its important to me what everyone thinks and this really has a huge impact on me. Its not just not phasing me, and I strongly care. Ive been somewhat avoiding it because I dont want to stress myself out, im not trying to involove personal issues but I have been avoiding it because I dont want to add stress on my pregnancy. So when all is situated I will begin again. I just want everyone to know I love and care about my dragons, they live happily and great and get sun every day out of their cages. Once again sorry all and to you Jessica. My boyfriend doesnt know if the baby did die in 24 hours because you didnt adress me until over 24 hours of this. It was 2 days after you recieved the babys, and I probably have the text in my sent box, dated and all. So I hope this resolved this whole issue. Thankyou all take Care. -Brenda L.

Well I wanted to make sure that everyone saw this thread. That thread was very cluttered and I wanted it to be crystal clear for everyone to see. I am refunding her money. Thanks All.

You clearly admitted it was your fault and stated you are sending a refund. Maybe in between posting on other peoples ads that you want to spend cash on there animals. How about taking some of that cash and send it to Jess. Just a thought ...

I also wanted to add we all know the 2 heat packs is here say there was no proof .. But we all do know you shipped the dragons to young and as a result one of the babies didn’t make it. That’s what you admitted to and said your going to send a refund ..

Huh, how 'bout that?

I just googled the email, clicked on the sugar-glider link, and ... the link has expired.

I think someone should put her full name in the tags Brenda MacSwan. So if anyone searches her name can find out how she is a lair and deceiving. With this thread being her forever maybe future employers can find out exactly what kind of person she is ..

What makes me wonder is her raising the issue of a stressful pregnancy to justify the sale of these critters, and then going shopping for herself trying to buy critters like tegus that are not always snuggly and peaceful pets.

There ARE times when mentioning pregnancy is germane. If finances are slender and one wants to buy baby things, it is perfectly ok to say that in my opinion. Or if the pregnancy is not going well, and one needs rest and cannot care for one's critters it can be understandable that a new home might be sought.

But this person advertises her pregnant condition as the reason for sale, and is running around trying to buy more critters.

I'm beginning to wonder about the truth of the pg statement, since other statements like the promise of a customer refund seem to be lies.

I wonder why she is selling off the dragons. Hope they are healthy and that she is not dumping them on the market because for some reason she does not want to deal with them.
