    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

What is the matter with you people, I am trying to purchase veiled chams,. and you people act like I'm trying to do a drug deal or something, this person never contacted me and Duane did so I bought from Duane. ALL you people do is ATTACK. I bought chams, 4 died end of story . so you live life Hating ME, because I posted an ad trying to BUY chams from three or four different people???? and posted an ad against Duane to communicate with Duane. You claim you don’t know this guy so why Are you attacking ????? . I posted an ad because I was cheated. And I still need more babies, females only just like I ordered from Duane. And didn’t receive. You people have no idea of our phone conversations nor do I have to prove anything to you. Duane knows what he sent, and he knows what he owes me, plan and simple. The 4 babies are all doing great And living as close as they would to being free in a huge greenhouse . They don’t ever walk on the floor so to criticize about it is absurd .They are free and alone (no other animals) and it’s a beautiful place. (Critical Bill) that was just plain stupid, I don’t know how you acted in school but these kids love the animals they don’t bang on the glass nor does looking at them from two glass windows hurt the babies. Why don’t you go volunteer some of your animals and your time to the different schools or volunteer at a boys and girls club near you. And quit hating someone you don’t even know. Chris I would have loved to send you pictures but it seems all you are interested in is writing about is (I don’t even know what??????? ) I never talked with a more backwards and confused group of people. DUANE SENT ME 2 DEAD CHAMS , I BOUGHT LIVE CHAMS. If they are weak and unresponsive and 2more die within 12 hrs, and I beg for DUANE by phone to give ideas to help care for weak babies. (Then you are attacking me??????). A normal person will see that you, who have no clue of where your hate belongs have not even read my posts properly. TAKE YOUR SELVES OFF YOUR EGOS FOR A MINUTE DONATE YOUR TIME AND MONEY, and ANIMALS to a good cause . THEN HAVE PEOPLE WRITE YOU AND CALL YOU AND HARASS AND SEE HOW LONG YOU WOULD WASTE YOUR TIME. You people make no sense . I am happy to show pictures of chams drinking from a shot glass and how I get them to, or help anyone one do anything I can, but I’m not going to talk to people who spend all day criticizing something they themselves would do if they were wronged.

You said that 4 died and that you have another 4 babies that are doing well and you supposedly sold a trio to Alan Lesko (romad119). Thats 11 incase you can't count yet you only had 10. Where did this extra one come from. Also, 2 of those 10 were sent to a Randall in another state (page 11). That means you only had 8. Again, 4 died and you have 4 that are healthy...where did the other 3 come from that you sold to Alan Lesko...

You werent buying them. We saw the dates the ads were posted and the responces from the people that purchased them from you.

On another note, I am already a UNITED WAY Volunteer. I didnt need you to suggest I help others truly in need.

And with respect to volunteering my time at schools...why volunteer?? I was a computer science teacher for a 6 time blue ribbon award winning school in Brooklyn NY before I retired and moved to PA. It paid so well that you wont ever find me BEGGING for free chams on this site thats for sure.

Let me help you incase you didn't get the full implication of my last post. You only ever showed us a pic of a single dead chameleon so I can only assume 1 died for sure. Therefore, 1 dead cham + 4 healthy chams + 2 chams sent elsewhere from the start + 3 chams sold = 10 chams. That would add up to you being a liar and trying to con Duane out of animals that didn't die. 4 dead + 2 sent elsewhere + 4 health in your care + 3 sold = 13 chams which you don't have as you said you only had the 10. IE, you have a lot of explaining to do.

Your killing me! YOU said the floor was clean and dry under the chameleons in the green house, in one of your posts. I would also like to point out that Duane did you a favor, if he sent ALL female chameleons, there is a fair chance they would become egg bound if they weren't bred, thats why its better to get MALES for pets and display purposes, and don't tell me you wanted females because they can all live together, they get territorial too, and fights happen.

Right fron page1 post 1 it has been a bunch of B$ evolving as things have been pointed out that YOU did wrong. It was pointed out that you had them on a heating pad, ok Duane said that, but I still don't think he pulled that out of thin air. Ok Duane said you didn't give them water because you were afraid they would drown, I'm sorry but I don't believe he made that up either. Then it was an incubator pad, later an incubator. Then you watered them as fast as you could unpack them. COME ON you tried to blackmail Duane, and it backfired.

Then your selling chameleons? I'm sorry but everything you've posted smells bad, and then when you get caught you disappear, until you get called out.

I'm right this has become an embarassment hasn't it? Thats why this needs to be kept on the 1st page of the BOI. Are we picking on you? No I don't think so YOU were the ones that started the thread trying to RUIN Duanes business, unless of course he sent more chameleons for you to sell or kill.

Ok here's the deal, come clean and just maybe we'll let the thread disappear.

BTW I also volunteer for many causes, and share my animals freely whenever I'm asked to bring them to a scout meeting, a classroom, whatever, so don't try and look like Saints.

I never said I didn't know Duane, I said we weren't "BUDDIES" but we have bought and sold each other chameleons. That we compete for dollars at a Reptile Show each month, and yeah we might have shared a pizza once or twice. Again I have seen Duane sell his animals, HE DOES NOT SELL NEWBORNS.

Your still learning so I'll spell it out. The floor under the Chameleons in the green house would only be clean and dry if you keep it that way. YOU said it was. $_it falls. I'm also interested in knowing how you manage to feed them.

At least one of them is a teacher, possibly both I haven't quite been able to tell with both of them using the same name to post.

Again teachers like them are why we have to home school our son, BTW it works!!!!

The way Vicki uses spelling and grammer, I doubt that she is a certified teacher with a degree, probably some type of daycare provider. I'm glad you're happy with home schooling, but don't base your opinion of public school teachers on this knucklehead!!

Vicki isnt a teacher, Chuck is. He teaches Physical Education. IMO...teaching Phys Ed to kids is like teaching a monkey how to swing from tree limb to tree limb. I think the only reason they mentioned it was to explain the chams were for educational purposes. Bet they wish they hadnt.

Oh no Dave....

I don't put all the blame on the teachers, but the system here. Our son was one of those that was just passed along throught the system, and while he had some really good teachers, COLOR=crimson]he's had a few that were dumber than a box of rocks[/COLOR]. The hands on approach we have now with his online school has been much better for Mark. He also enjoys it.

all i want to say is i have purchased a trio of chameleons in the past they were 1 month olds and they surviveda 2 day trip through the post office with no problems they drank right away and and ate like 10 crickets each with in an hour of arriving also if you know anything about chameleons they get extremly stressed out if they are not holding onto some thing they very much dislike to be on any thing flat (like a heating pad) so i strongly recamend duane beattie he is an awsome guy and i highly dobt he is in it for the money where else do you see vields of his quality for cheaper??

I'm with you, John!! But what do you think the odds are that Vicki will do the right and honorable thing?? I'm guessing slim to none, she will just keep posting about how horrible all of US are. I have always been impressed how honest and helpful most herpers are, I really hope the Vicki's are few and far between.

People have done this a few times before. Rich (the site owner) has reacted negatively to the practice. Essentially there is no new information, no resolution and nothing further happening but you're bumping the thread and pushing threads which ARE active and have ongoing CHANGING discussions off the front page which is a huge disservice to the people involved in those deals.

Pretty uncool, no matter what your intentions might be. Anyone who needs to know about these people will do a search and find the thread, even if it were on the LAST page.
 
Coming in a tad late, BUT

I have personally purchased easily 50+ chams from Duane personally, both veileds and panthers, and have NEVER been dissatisfied with what I received EVER, have never had a DOA, and have never had A SINGLE one of his stock die for any reason whatsoever. Something's fishy with the story here, until I see some sort of evidence with these claims against Beattie I simply call BS. He's a great guy and sells great animals and has always been a step above par where several other breeders whom I will not mention have been step(s) below.
