Lone Wolf
It is UNDERSTOOD that Ed did not handle this situation properly. However, I am not sure there is a way for him to have handled it that would be acceptable for this lynch mob. Ed was here trying to work this out. The way everybody was calling him names and cursing at him, I don't blame him for not wasting his time in here.
Even if he had, and posted clean fecal test results it would not stop the personal attacks. If he really were to test his collection every year at breeding season and provided those papers, y'all would just go back to accusing him of sending untested WC animals, which there is no way for Ed or anyone else to prove one way or the other.
Obviously he should have tested some of his animals and if they were dirty, made it right with Emily and informed his client base from that time period that he had tapeworms in his collection, and that they should have their animals checked if they hadn't already.

That's just plain bull crap, no matter how you slice it. There have been a few well established, and well liked fauna members who have been outed for there disregard to their customers. Some still in business, some not. And that really is what this is all about. Ed's disregard for his customer.
Outed from what? The Clique
.
As far as History goes, its like Pumbaa said in the Lion King, "You gotta put your past in your behind."
