    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

ed clark- liar, theif, bad guy- will you answer questions NOW?

It is UNDERSTOOD that Ed did not handle this situation properly. However, I am not sure there is a way for him to have handled it that would be acceptable for this lynch mob. Ed was here trying to work this out. The way everybody was calling him names and cursing at him, I don't blame him for not wasting his time in here.

Even if he had, and posted clean fecal test results it would not stop the personal attacks. If he really were to test his collection every year at breeding season and provided those papers, y'all would just go back to accusing him of sending untested WC animals, which there is no way for Ed or anyone else to prove one way or the other.

Obviously he should have tested some of his animals and if they were dirty, made it right with Emily and informed his client base from that time period that he had tapeworms in his collection, and that they should have their animals checked if they hadn't already.

Ed wasn't here trying to work ANYTHING out, he was here telling more lies and avoiding the REAL issues, as usual.


You seem to have a real thing for sticking up for the poor, mistreated around here, dontcha? Great assets to the herping community like Ed, Allen Belcher, and ACE reptiles....now THAT's a clique you should be proud to support!
 
I sure am glad we got you around here to tell us exactly what it is we would have done had Ed cooperated, and not disregarded his customer. It really is a load off of my mind. :rolleyes:

Maybe since I obviously missed the part where Ed attempted to take care of this, you could link me to it. ????

I am not sticking up for Ed Clark here, I have never met or dealt with him before. Of course not going with the popular vote to bash someone by using profanity and unproven accusations is not acceptable here and is the same as "sticking up for them" right.

I never stuck up for Tony/AceReptiles either. I posted about a good experience I had in a trade deal with Tony, and the fact that I saw that he does quarantine his animals. Our trade was set up before I saw the thread on him and done before Joe Compel's post that made that thread relevant. Would I purchase a het from him or suggest anybody else does? NO.

As far as Allen Belcher goes, I posted about a good experience I had in a trade deal with him. When attacked by the wolf pack I did explain why I do not come to the same conclusion as y'all based on those bad guy threads. I have since had another great transaction with him and will post on it shortly.

Clique? If that was aimed at me, you need to ask around some more, gather more facts. I'll tell my best friend to get stuffed if he/she is wrong. Ed is wrong for the way he treated Emily, he has made promises he has yet to follow through with, and so this must continue. I'd love to let it rest. Ed knows just how to do that too. Bet it don't happen though.

I'd still like to know where Ed tried to handle the situation. In fact, if I remember correctly, he went behind her back, in a forum she could not view, and talked smack about her.

What I am reading is a mode of behavioral patterns with your reasons as to why this person or that person is "not such a bad guy" This is not by the "wolf pack mentality but through you own admission to having business dealings with known scumbags.

Clique?? Wolfpack??? Bull snot! All of us who have found certain sellers unacceptable will shout it from the roof tops until they either change their ways or leave the industry.

The more you post in this thread and align yourself with known liars and thieves, the worse you appear to myself and others here. I am not saying that you are a bad guy or a scumbag, but you do seem to protest too much.

Who decides when they have changed their ways? I got attacked for posting a "good experience" thread about a transaction with somebody who has already been labeled as a "known" scumbag. Wouldn't enough people posting about good transactions indicate that they may have changed their ways, or is that up to the pack to decide?

I am not aligning myself with anyone, and I could care less how I appear to yourself or others. I am a hobbyist who purchases snakes for pets because I have a place in my heart for them. If any of y'all want to put me on your "Do not buy or sell to" list that is fine with me. I am not looking to make enemies here, but I am not going to alter myself to make friendships, or be accepted here either.

You have a double standard right here. Let me name a few who some think were part of the clique: Chris Johnson, Matt Graybal, Mike Shoemaker, Bill Leverton, Ed Clark, etc.

Many of us had dealings with those people, BEFORE they were shown to be what they are. Once their true colors became evident, they were given the same treatment as anyone else who was pulling the same crap as they were. All were people that perhaps once were established, well liked members of the Fauna community. No longer so.

My point being.....it doesn't matter who you are. If I, or ANYONE who has posted on this thread behaved as Ed has, I would expect the same response that Ed has gotten, deservedly so.

You know Chuck, this is the kind of thing has stirred up fauna of late and caused a few guys to get banned. If you can't compete with Robert on a philosophical level then why post at all?

I personally don't disagree with him entirely. Robert, I think what you're looking for with "who decides" is the individual. Commonly I agree with the consensus of an individual by the fauna regulars but there have been occasions where I didn't agree. In Ed's case I am about 90% sure I would get exactly what I paid for. The problem for Ed is, there are guys out there that I would be 100% sure with. Then there is the aspect of; do I want to support someone, with my purchase dollars, that is not necessarily an asset to the community.

I wouldn't hesitate to post a good experience with someone no matter what his/her reputation was here. If people don't want to get the entire picture then they're idiots and I would have little to do with them also.

Back to Ed. Ethics, IMO, is not a shades of gray issue. It is black and white. I believe Ed to be a liar therefor not someone I would choose to do business with. I don't think people people ever change when it comes to ethics, so there would be no point when they would magically become a "good guy" in my view. I believe they either become more adept at hiding things or are forced to be honest because dishonesty is bad for business.
