    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

So Kita, if nothing else, after you make sure Eli knows about this thread, I'd also think about sending a private message to Matt Parks there so he's aware of it. I don't know if he'll do anything about it (especially if you don't have proof posted) but it might be good for him to be aware of since Eli is a mod there. I know if I was running a forum and one of the mods was scamming people, I would want to know, but I'd also want proof before I took any action.

I don't understand why people have started slinging mud in this thread. I have not been trying to run down his name, just making an account of what has happened. Surely it can be understood how I can come to my conclusion when I could see Eli was logging in where he could read my messages, but never responded for just under two weeks since it started. I'm not quick to accuse people, as Eli should be able to see from my messages. I'm quite pleased to see that I am wrong and certainly hope we can just make note of what caused it for future reference instead of beating a dead horse (gecko?) about it.

You accused him of "thief" in your header, and you say you haven't been trying to run down his name? If this was just a misunderstanding he has all the right to be upset. Once again when this gets resolved please let everyone know. If not this thread will remain with your accusation as only proof. Hope everything works out OK.

And I have something to learn from this as well, obviously. Perhaps I should have told him before I posted here and also should have merely clarified who in the title and gave my account to what happened. I was concerned it would happen to someone else, if that was what was going on.
