    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. Do any BOI threads stay on topic?
It seems like every single one starts out with the original post and then has like 30 off topic post in just a few hours.
They consist of some Fauna members attacking the OP before they have a chance to reply and bring forth the other side of the story. Members who do not go along with the original lynching are then attacked, and then other members post defending those members under attack.
Finally the OP involved in the transaction at hand replies to the thread and is subjected to a 20 post blanket party by all the members who hang around for no other reason than to insult people with profane name calling and all kinds of crude humor.
If they stick around after the onslaught, members fall where they lie on the issue and engage in an intellectual 40 post debate equivalent to that of a Jerry Springer show, and most quit following the thread before the issue is resolved.

CHUCK, I am not going to say that this forum is useless because I really do not think it IS. However, it would be so much more of AN ASSet to the community and hobby as a wHOLE, if somebody could train the monkeys in this circus :reddevil: . Let's just give this time to resolve and stop the bickering. Back on topic now...

Rob, it really was quite an accusation to make if you can't back it up. At some point it becomes worthwhile to spend the time looking, if only to prove to yourself, and others, that you really saw it. I know I would.

If you can't back it up then you do owe Eli an apology IMO. Not because you were lying but because you could easily have been mistaken.

This forum can and does at times provide a great service. It has exposed some real "bad guys," and even revealed the true colors of some of the so called "good guys." We have all posted some useless replies that are either simply our opinion, or a little off topic humor, which IMO is alright.
It has escalated into a sideshow, and really diminishes the effectiveness of the BOI, and the appeal of this site.
In any given thread there are a few members maliciously attacking other members for no other reason than to be a :censored:. One can only take so much of it before they no longer will to participate in this community(Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere :thumbsup:.)
Instead of unifying the people that make up this hobby and weeding out the real scum, some good people choose not to participate rather than be a part of the Big Show.

Anyway, let's give Eli the chance to make this right with his customer like he said he intended to do since the start of this thread. At least he is smart enough to know that he should get out of the business, most people don't realize that until they have way more bad transactions.

I thought another member took that post as an attack on them, and that I was saying that everyone here is a monkey. So before it erupted into a "who flung poo" I posted an off topic explanation of my previous post. You copied that post right up until the last paragraph, which was right on topic.

Eli sent me a message Sunday (16th) afternoon asking if I wanted the gecko by Tuesday (18th), but asked said it would be more convenient for him later in the week. I told him to let me know which day this week would be better for him or if he needed more time to let me know. Waiting to hear back.
