    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

This is insane. The reason I don't post as much is because I have **** internet at home that rarely works so I have to log in at work on my breaks. Thus I have time to check for messages on the forum and try to catch up here before I post. It took my whole hour lunch to do that!

I think the gecko might old enough to breed by the time he gets here, but yes my over trusting nature tells me Eli will do the right thing. He might consider a discount or special deal for all the trouble (wink wink :D)!
 
You would think that is the least he could do under the circumstances. I really do hope that every thing turns out for the best.
 
No, but this time it was me. Eli sent me a message because he couldn't find what he did with my address, but I got it too late for him to send it because of my work schedule. Because I'll be out of town all next week we have to wait for the week of March 31. I've talked to Eli on the phone and we've got everything set up.
 
OK i have to admit I did not read every post on here. I feel like I need to post since I was mentioned early on as well as the fact that Eli is a mod on my forums. I've known Eli for a few years now and I've know plenty of people who have done business with him with no problems. I talked to him to make sure he checked his pm's on Pangea. I'm very confident that Eli will get all this taken care and this will all go away, like I said he's done very good business for the past 3 years.

Have not heard from Eli since March 20 and my last message was on the 29th, but supposedly I am getting my gecko tomorrow. I'll be calling him tomorrow if I don't recieve it and letting everyone know whats going on.
 
Update on what happened today:

1pm - I tried calling and heard 'Call cannot be completed as dailed' (which I later found out meant he had his phone off)

2:03pm - get a text asking if tomorrow is good and that he is shipping geckos to two other people as well (one of which has been in contact with me to see if Eli contacts me because he has apparently had her money a month longer than me)

7pm - I get his text and send two back saying tomorrow is fine and apologizing for sleeping through his message. (I work nights)
8:30 - phone is off again

9:10pm - Phone turned on, but no answer so I left a message apologizing for not answering sooner because I was asleep for work and asking him to let me know if he still sent the gecko.

11:38pm - Sent him another text asking if he could let me know if he went ahead and sent the gecko for arrival tomorrow.

I think I should be getting the gecko tomorrow or Thursday.
 
I love taking an hour out of my night to read these compelling novels on the BOI. We're now at the climax. I'm at the edge of my seat here.

By the way, did anyone ever locate that article?

Any updates?
 
I got the baby today, about a month since everything started. It looks fine, just really thirsty though I would expect that. Very happily licked quite a bit of CGD off my finger, too. I took lots of pictures and when I can get online at home instead of at work, I'll be posting on Pangea.
 
Great to hear that you finally got the gecko, Kristyn. :)

It'd be neat if ya posted a few pics here on Fauna too.

I would be the other one who he was/is supposed to be sending to. However, much like you, messages are going ignored and I am getting no responds from him at this time. He told me last week he was sending them out, and that was the last I had heard from him. Will wait until Friday to post anything else about the subject to give him a fair chance to respond.
