I posted a message awhile ago about my gecko who stopped eating. I found out she's pretty healthy besides an eye infection. I've been using the prescribed eye drops for two weeks however, her eye is glued shut and, try as she may, she can't get it open. I'm rubbing the drops on her eye to try to help soften things up (on the advice of the vet) however, it's not working. Before I drive the vet nuts, I thought I'd check here to see if anyone has any advice on how to get her eye open. Could I use water on a cloth or paper towel? I'm worried about causing her more discomfort but right now, I can't even get the drops to her eyeball. Thanks in advance for any advice.
