In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Yeah, I know. They are a pain in the butt. But they pay the bills to keep my server running. Just a fact of life, I am afraid.

Want to get rid of them? Simple. Just become a Contributor level member or above and they will be gone. -> Please click HERE."

Is that too much for me to ask of you to keep this site running? Well, sorry about that. I too wish I could get everything for free. But alas.....

Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Fat People

Nice logical fallacy there. Because you say its so, it must be so, eh? But then again that must be how things work in your world, as evidenced by your posts.

LOL Kids are so funny. How does that make US shallow? Obesity is a growing problem but to say a fat person is fat because they choose to be, is just typical of someone brainwashed by society and the media's perception of attractive. I feel all the dumber just having replied to the ignorance flowing out of your mouth. If you think every girl should look like Christina and Britney, your too shallow to even bother hurting your brain trying to explain life to you.

Someday, you'll grow up and have an awakening as to the reality of others around you. Oh, but wait I guess the world is revolving around you right now so never mind. Enjoy your little world while it lasts.

What am I supposed to wake up to? That a 400 pound woman is sexy? A person's body reflects something about them. Someone who lets their weight get out of control has no respect for others or for themselves.More to the point I have woken up to the fact that lack of exorcise and over eating are a national problem. Why don't you face reality and recognize that obese people are masters of self-deception and look for any excuse to shift the blame away from themselves.

The body is the eye of the soul. A person is manifest through their physicality. Finally, your stupid comment about the media brainwashing people is laughable. What should the media portray as an ideal...someone who is so grossly overweight that they cannot walk on their own?

Like I said boy, some people don't choose to be fat. Not all, but SOME allow themselves to become obese. And it's becoming more of a problem now. I didn't disagree with that. But NOT ALL people have a choice. You judging a large person as "letting themselves go" at first glance, is shallow, and typical of little brats like you. You don't know them or their situation. You are an idiot, as you've made obvious with your mindless babble. I'm done trying to show you any truth behind your nonsense. Good luck in life little boy.

if some one cant see someone for who they are inside they are shallow hey i am over weight not because i wake up in the mornings and say wow i love this fat around my waist its not like that. i will give it to you that some people just let them selfes go but thats because they dont have the motivation. i am a very active person but it never seems to help with weight loss. but if u come on here and complain about how someone looks just think what if u were that person.

I always hate seeing this kind of stuff.

There are a few people out there that don't have a choice.

I'm one of them.

I'm seeing specialists, and continue to have blood work done. They think it could be one thing...or maybe it's another. They want to test for things again, just in case....you get the picture. I probably eat better and work out more than people who are in fantastic shape...and yet I remain quite large. (170+ lbs on a 5'3" frame is...pretty harsh.)

Reading this kind of stuff makes me ill. I have a severe phobia of needles...yet I have to undergo tons of blood tests. I spend a lot of spare time making the right meals and working out. Oh - and the same thing that makes me fat...makes me infertile. I will never have children.

And yet people like the thread starter will look at me and judge me like that, when I probably mind my health and appearance more than they do.

Oh - and even though I'm large, I'm not afraid to post my picture. Quite frankly, though I may not be attractive, I've got nothing to hide.

i agree with you on one point , grossly obese peope that wear skimpy clothing disgust me . now as far as your other points ... im a big guy 6' 295# . i ws thin all my life then i lost my knee and quit smoking at about the same time . i didnt start grossly overeating , i have alwasy eaten alot . but i used to also participate in all kinds of sports and now i was forbidden to so much as climb a flight of stairs . within the next 3 years i gained 100 pounds . now you may say 295 ! thats as big as a house ! heh , most people that look at me would guess my weight at closer to 220 . i may be big , but im not flabby . the biggest down fall is now peopel look at me and expect me to be as strong as i have alwasy been . i liked it better when peopel grossly underestimated me . thats my 2 cents worth

OK, I am going to need to sound off a bit on this one. My little brother is 6ft4 and called about 3 christmases ago to brag he finally got over 150 lbs. My little sister is 5ft8 and 115 lbs and can eat whatever she wants. She has worked in a fast food restaurant since high school and eats a lot of fast food, but never gains weight. Meanwhile, I am 5ft6 and abuot 150 lbs. I eat healthier than my sister, yet since the age of 15/16 I have struggled with my weight. I have been as light as 120 lbs, but when I wighed that little people were fussing at me to eat more or go to the doctor because I looked ill. The same thing happened during my tour in Iraq, when I went down to at least 125 lbs and came back looking similar to a holocaust survivor. I just don't look right below 135 lbs because of my body structure: wide hips and large breasts. At 150 lbs I eat better and mind my diet much more than I did at 120 lbs, so it is not always a matter of willpower or attention to detail as some posters have suggested.

Now here's an interesting twist: prior to being deployed I was riding the "overweight" line on purpose! Yes, I purposely went up to 160 lbs, 25 lbs over my "ideal" weight for the simply reason I know I drop weight fast in field conditions. I even called it "deployment insurance" and my sgts laughed at that idea until about 6 weeks in the sandbox when they saw me again and saw how much weight I had already dropped. A lot of people dropped weight over there, including those who didn't have the pounds to lose.

Now, since the division got back early this year, there has been a "problem" with overweight soldiers. Are you aware that large weight loss will trigger a cellular response to gain weight faster and keep it on longer no matter what because the body went into a "depravation" mode? Apply that theory to all of these people who do these unhealthy fad and crash diets. If you talk to alot of these people who are overweight and/or obese, you'll hear how they have tried diet after diet, only to gain the weight back AND THEN SOME when they switched to a "maintenance" diet. After so many diets, the body will simply refuse to lose the weight. For some reason medical and health specialists disregarded that for years, and only recently has it started to get attention in publicized studies.

As for J Tyler's comment about fat WOMEN who are out walking around...all the power to them! They are out moving around trying to get some exercise. Should they stay in their rooms until dark so they aren't seen and don't offend him? No, let them get out, walk around, then jog if their knees are able to take it, then maybe even run later. It all starts somewhere. As for how the fat women dress, they have every right to dress up as he does. I am not fat, nor will I ever be thin again, but I dress to suit myself and my mood. If I want to put on a miniskirt and midriff top, I will. If you don't want to look at me when I dress up, that is fine with me. I probably wouldn't spare you a second glance either, as I would consider you "too young" and "still a kid" probably too young to buy me a drink legally :) Besides that, I prefer my men to do their thinking above the shoulders most of the time.

What ?

I just came across this thread, and I must say I was somewhat appaled at the choice of wording the young man who started this used.
Yes I am a large woman, I am 41 years old and have given birth 5 times. No that is no excuse however. The fact that my entire maternal side of the family have struggled with obesity, for 4 to 5 generations is a major factor.
We have very slow metabolisims, and the fact that we have all tried to conform to "normal" peoples ideas of what we should look like we have dieted and dieted some of us to death, has in turn caused our metabolisms to decline even to a point of not really working at all.
I have done alot of exercising and am an active person, I am very carefull of my eating habits however I remain at the same weight give or take 5 lbs. I have done so for 20 some odd years.
As for the way "these" people dress I say " if you are big dress big" do not try to wear something designed for a 110 lb person. Some clothing is just not designed to be made in a 3x. Just because the store sells it does not mean you or I should wear it.
You CAN dress for your size and feel comfortable, sexy, professional, sporty, or what ever you are looking for, you can show your "style" without showing your A**. and if it is as big as mine then believe me the world is not ready to see that. LOL
Look at others beyond the outer covering, you will usually be happy you did.

I just got back from visiting someone in the hospital. The place was crawling with fat slobs. I am sick and tired of grossly obese women wearing shorts and having their thighs rub together. People in this country are constantly complaining about indecency, but I think having to view these people who are ugly and and don't care about themselves is the most indecent thing we are exposed to.

I just saw this thread and yes I am overweight. So, anyone who doesn't like it can kiss my generous *** :raspberry

At the risk of getting a second warning point to add to my collection of one, I think this is the stupidest, most shortsighted, least intelligent, most tactless comment I have seen on here for a while.
With that kind of attitude, any really sexy woman would run screaming to get away from Mr. Tyler.

Sexiness, by the way, is not directly related to size. I have never had ANYONE express dissatisfaction when *I* got through with them.

OK, I'm finished for now...... :D

Wow
If you think I am the "most shallow person in the world", then you are the one who needs to wake up. The mere fact that you think I am the "most shallow person in the world" indicates just how shallow you are. And like I said before if you want to insult me try and be a little more creative...and take it easy on the beer and french fries. Obesity is the number one health problem in America, not to mention the aesthetic aspect.
LOL You think I am shallow?? Time to get your head out your rear, buddy..... If i recall, I did not start a thread to complain about obese people......

This is quite funny here
Someone who lets their weight get out of control has no respect for others or for themselves.More to the point I have woken up to the fact that lack of exorcise and over eating are a national problem. Why don't you face reality and recognize that obese people are masters of self-deception and look for any excuse to shift the blame away from themselves.
Masters of self-deception??? God, you are getting more ignorant every post. The only deception i see, is the crap you think "obese" people are doing wrong.

You are the type of person that would look at a person with a thyroid problem and still complain that they are not "doing enough" to lose their weight.

Want to know something else? I give you a little tid-bit of history. Aprox 4,000+ years ago in ancient greece, obese women were actaully better than thin women. They were even condsidered good looking, to their society. Why you ask? Because back in those times of no medical knowledge or medicine for that matter, disease was a big problem. So if they found a thick woman, they knew she did not have diseases and were healty enough to bear their kids.

There still are people to this day, who think obese people are sexier than a thin person. HECK, even the porn industry caters to these people, with BBW porn. To you a 400+ lb woman getting naked is sick, to others thats better than normal porn with ex-models. .....

I am one of those over weight women. What I found interesting was you said that if you where overweight you where a slob. Why? I carry most of my weight in my legs and hind end. I DO look bad in shorts and have spent most of my life being told I was fat, even in the service and I was 5'10 and 169lbs and could kick booty all over the place, could run 3 miles in less than 25 min. Do I like being overweight? Not really, am I a slob, NO! Do you smoke or like to work out a lot? Those can be habits that people can get hooked on, sure you look thin, but are you any more healthy? In an overweight person you can see thier addiciton, in a smoker you can not see thier lungs clogging up with tar, and the dying of lung cancer. So that makes it ok right? How do you handle your stress? I hope you dont have any unhealthy habits (but they would be ok as long as you cant SEE how they affect your life right? I HATE the smell of smoke( mostly because it triggers my asthma and I cant breath when it is around) but do I say all smokers are slobs, no.

Why do you think the way I look affects you in any way? That is SO shortsighted. Sure everyone dresses up to look nice just for YOU? They work out, put on make up and dress to what you think is beautiful just for you. LMAO. The overweight woman or man for that matter, have learned not to show how much your silly opions can hurt them. Here is a big notice 99% of the population couldnt care how their weight (or other health problems) affect you! Sorry to burst your bubble but you are not the center of the universe. Did you expect to go to a hospital and find healthy people in it??? Just so you know, most people in a hospital are having problems of one sort or another (unless they are working there). Just thought you might not have figgured that one out with your great ability of think.

I agree with the others on this one. You will miss a LOT by your attitude, however it is your life.

ps sorry for all the typos :)

Ya know I use to be a FAT person but...

got off my ass and moved around a little bit and cracked the code on what was making me FAT ! Mostly non-exercise with donuts, cakes, pies, cookies, chips , ice cream, a lot of white flour breads, candies, yada, yada. I at 52 then, decided what most people don't like to hear that they DO NOT in-fact have a metabolism problem or the HEREDITY problem can be false wasn't my problem. I WAS MY PROBLEM. Most over weight people have issues of asthma, now leading the diabetes genera, and chronic fatigue. Not to mention all those other things associated with being overweight and obese. Do I sympathize. Yes , kinda but as with me there are conclusions one HAS to make as to changing a lives style. But isn't this true with so many addictions and we know that over eating is mostly just that ! I am now at soon to be 56 , male and 5 foot 6 inches and at 220 2 years ago decided that it didn't take that much to drop the first 20 pounds by just freaking WALKING ! Now at 170 and going for 160, I know i can do it although it is the hardest commitment that I have EVER had to make. I also have set my mind to not fall back. I am no freaking case study/historical type person/deal here but I find that I am not short of breath anymore, have been riding a bike around, get up early as hell in the morning, able to chase my 3 year old grandkid around, yada, yada. I also cut all of those " diet " schemes out that most of us waist our good money on. Conclusion ? At least for me > cut the intake of calories, boot the empty calories out, move around a little bit. LOL !

Congratulations, Mike! Sounds like you're winning a personal battle!

Everyone has tendencies that they must overcome in order to continue to grow and develop as a person. The obvious ones are overeating, drinking too much, cigarette smoking, or the myriad of other things that an addictive or stressed personality results in. With others it may be apathy, laziness, pathological lying, or any number of less than admirable personality traits.

No one is perfect, but everyone should try to improve themselves.

However, just because someone hasn't faced their biggest demon yet doesn't mean they aren't valuable as a person.

Yes, everyone needs to take personal responsibility for their own situation, but other people need not sit back and pass judgment.

Just my .02
