This is a LIE.

I've been called to the carpet a number of times when folks didn't agree with me. Unlike YOU however, they did not piss and moan about it, they used facts and prior posts to show why they disagreed. Greg, Shrap, Chris and doubtless others of whom I have not recalled at the moment, have had LARGE disagreements with me on a number of issues. So far as I am aware of NONE of us have any problems with any of the others.

All of us disagree from time to time. And some agree to disagree and move on.... It's part of being a mature adult. If everyone were to agree 100% of the time it would certainly make for boring conversation. I've disagreed with Wes, Rich, Shrap, and NUMEROUS others on many occasions. Do you see us crying about it? No. Such is life. Anyone who believes they are right will obviously do what they can to defend their beliefs.... And those who agree will agree, those who disagree will disagree. I do not see where someone has jumped on a bandwagon..... And I do not see instances of obvious fault with a "clique" waving banners cluelessly backng them up ricking thier own reputation just to fit in. It just does not happen, and this my friend is what you call a gross exaggeration of fact.

Why do you think I am talking about you in particular anyway? You keep acting like I am personally attacking you? I'm not. And BTW, I am using the sites rules to make my point, which is something that this board DEMANDS in every case. I am using facts to make my point, and backing them up.

Appropriately enough, the topic of this thread is BOI favoritism and its cliqueness. You guys are just proving the point for me for those interested in reading this far and that have a brain for themselves. My situation in this thread is a great example of how, rather than you guys taking an honest look at your behavior, you make silly jokes, and put it on the other guy, for again, posting something that you dont' like, even though it can be backed it up with fact.

Webslave, you are welcome to post the last fews days on my user CP to this thread if you wish. For all of you, if you value the BOI, and all the good it can do, you should take this discussion seriously. In order to make this place the best it can be, we all need to try and remember what its about.

Darn, I lost everything I was typing when I hit the wrong button. I had all the quotes in line but I am not going to spend that much time on this again.
Iwould not correct your grammar; I have hard enough time with it myself.

I stated it already, I needed go back and read the thread to remember who said what. You are correct.

There have been a lot of Bad Guy reports that start one way and by the end of the thread the poster of thread was completely in the wrong. Sometimes it is few pages; sometimes it's 50. I have no problem being told I am wrong but I am not a liar.

This is a prime example of what happens here. Someone who is respected can post nearly anything, and its believed, even if its wrong, and its up to the accused to convince EVERYONE that they are right. If people can't, or won't, you guys do a fair job of tearing up their reputation, even if its just to the members of this site. You all have gone from trying to be a service that we can all use, to a "say whatever needs to be said to win the arguement" type of club here. Its a real shame.

I will disagree; I have been wrong before and have been told as much. It's not a free ride for anyone.

I think your current reputation goes against what you have posted. You stated you took a heavy hit on that thread and had a negative reputation, which you feel, hurt you in someway. That does not seem to be the case now. Your rep points are very much in the positive.

If I assumed something on this thread because of what you posted here and what I remembered on that thread, I apologize.

But Wait a minute! Lets take a look at what you posted on the other thread.

You jumped on the thread and your first post you said I know you guys are going to rip this post up but I will not argue you then continue to argue.
One could say that was a lie but I am not going call you that.

Maybe you are wrong why you received your negative reputation points.

Right off the back you called the BOI a nasty place and you were itching to stick your two cents in there like your were in putting it in here with Tosha.
Then you go the poor me route.

While you did say you did not condone his shipping methods you took every opportunity to find some way to defend it from the packaging on down.

You stated that you purchased several animals from him so one would assume that you received them through the post office, so many that is why you received your negative rep points.


I went back and reread the entire thread just now. That is still my opinion and my take on what you posted. It does not make me a liar.

As I said, I thought it was a mistake, and, thanks for admitting it. Its very big of you (no sarcasm, I mean it.) Liar is pretty harsh, I will admit. And no, I never go that other stuff through the USPS, all my herps come to my workplace via one of the major carrier's. Its safer for them that way. But I still stand by those posts BTW that are in that thread. As far as my reputation? I am not really into the points, though I know I have some positives here. I was only really using it as an example to further the discussion. Its nice to know there are like minded individuals out there though. I look forward to argueing with any of you in person at any of the shows you might get a chance to meet me at. Although, soon, those will be limited to the Texas area. I'll miss Florida...great herp community here.

I think that right there is proof that you are over reacting. You state when certain people say something, that everybody (re; the clique) believes them, without looking up, or knowing the facts. Well, you have gotten 3 times the positive rep points. So obviously everybody didn't blindly believe what was said about you. Yet, you still keep posting "that is what is wrong with this place" and "bandwagons" type stuff.

Not exactly true. I have alot of people here who know me, and who I know, that I respect alot. I did think then that its gets a little beyond fair when alot of this is just opinion. Like I said way back in this thread, this site works best when you can read between the lines a little bit.
