    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

Bad Guy Firecrested (the Valley reptile)

I had a quick question... it looks like all of the buyers are right on track with sending their payments and are happy with the way the geckos look so why is he giving refunds? From what I understand the buyers did not ask for refunds but he contacts them saying that he will give refunds. Is he posting animals he doesn't have???? Or am I missing something here?

Sadly he lost a lot of his collection due to fire ants getting in. Therefore, I'm guessing these specific geckos may have been in that number lost.

Ok! Thank you for that clarification. I knew I was missing something. That is a very sad and unfortunate thing... I couldn't imagine having that happen to me. I hope he can build up his collection again.
 
this is starting to get really upsetting. ive had problems with a few people over the past couple months. are there any people left in this hobby that care about their customers?! i cant even get an email back from this guy. if im not going to get my money back the least i want is a damn apology.
 
Yeah, I know what you mean...I'm still waiting on a refund from someone as well.

I sure hope he gets back to you soon. This is just awful. He used to be a great guy. I don't know what happened :(
 
He shows up at the Birmingham Ala. show. Terry H would have contact info. Next time I see him, I'll get something concrete.

My most recent contact with Eric was on June 1, with an estimated refund date of 1st or 2nd week of July. I was told he was starting his new job on June 23, and they hold 1st week's pay.
 
I will try to answer everything here. I haven't had a computer in months and just got my replacement phone this week. I have had very little internet access other than a couple websites that my old phone would pick up. I had to change my email address, hotmail wouldn't work on my old phone. Anyone that has not heard from me can send a pm on pangea and I will send my new address. I have been working on moving the last couple months, starting a new career and planning a wedding and that's why I had no internet. I apologise to everyone that has not heard from me. If I could have contacted sooner I would have. I wasn't able to get back on pangea until recently and I am trying to contact everyone. Most of my geckos were in the ant infestation and a friend bought everything I had left so I don't have anything to offer as a replacement and don't know if I will breed them again.
Some of the pm' were deleted so if I owe you amd you haven't heard anything please send me a pm.

I'm so sorry to hear about the ant infestation and the loss of so many geckos. I've heard that they can devastate a colony, and I'm just glad we don't have them here in WNY.

I knew you wouldn't leave everyone hanging for long, since we had a very good transaction.

I hope you're able to get back to geckos at some time in the future, because you're animals were always gorgeous and your husbandry was top-notch!

I wish you luck in your new career and your coming marriage!!
 
Has anyone received a refund to date? I am stil in contact with Eric, however, I was just wondering how everyone else is progressing. Thanks.
