This is Probably one of those "oh no not another one" kind of threads but I couldn't seem to find any other reliable sites where I could trust the information. I'm really interested in a ball python but I don't know too much about them yet... I have two cornsnakes and love them dearly but I am starting to expand my collection quite rapidly (fortunately
). Basically, what I need to know is everything I would need to know about a Ball Python and where I could get this information. So far I know that they need a heat greadient such as 85-90 on the hot end and around 75 on the cool end? fed every 5 days for babies and once a week for adults? 60% humidity (70-80%) humid hide. 30 g for adults? How does the food size work for bp's? Do they start off with hoppers, adult mice? and would you feed accordingly to the biggest part of thier body? Growth rate? Morphs? Just the basics to keep a healthy snake is what I need!
I know there are hundreds of sites for Ball Python care but personally I don't trust many of them. Any suggestions/advice is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Kristy
