I want to rewire the flexwatt on my 9 tub 30qt rack which currently has 3" flexwatt on it (only been there a few months). The flexwatt is zig-zagged continuously down through the rack which obviously has wasted quite a bit (about 8' by my math). I want to take that 3" and use it on a hatchling rack I am building. My question is, since I have a lot of excess 11" flexwatt just sitting in a drawer, can I cut the 11" into 6" strips to use on the 30qt rack? I would be wiring it all together so as to keep it on one cord. I have not been able to find if there is a minimum length to which you must cut the flexwatt.
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks,
Adam
