• In the past two days I have gotten emails asking about being requested to provide credit card info in order to register and also to make a post in the classifieds forums. PLEASE NOTE: In no instance will this site ask you for this sort of information. The only time any request for payment is made is if you choose to opt-in for a higher membership level, and that is done SOLELY through PayPal. Anything else is coming from a source other than this site. My guess is that this is coming through Google Adsense, but when I can get someone to send me a screen shot of this sort of request, I will know more.

    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

As I indicated in my PM, unless/until something shows it is not Jorge, I am operating on the assumption that it is. Of course, that doesn't mean that the same person isn't behind the account...and the website certainly has a similar look - it just means that I think we'd be doing everybody a disservice not to acknowledge the name Jorge Montero, especially after all the connections in that name which were shown earlier. He deserves his own thread.

Both registered by Sebatian Montero or someone using his name, interestingly enough the first website is now down, I guess he figured he would outsmart everyone by registering a new website and no one would notice :ack2: :rofl:

Well, Sebastian isn't really old enough to be responsible for all of Jorge's stuff that was revealed earlier in this thread...so the question remains who is really behind these accounts.
IMO, a copy of his ID would be inconclusive....saying he can't, or won't, provide it would seem to favor the idea that it is Sebastian.
 
To be clear - I do believe it is the same person behind both accounts...but there are two reasons I think a separate BOI thread is indicated:
1) Using the BOI button in the new account's ad, may not pick up this thread (I haven't tried it, but given the search parameters, it shouldn't).
2) Doing a regular BOI search, one might wrongly think that the search picked up Montero (rather than Jorge)

Basically a separate thread, linking to this one, is the best option for making people aware. Remember, there was at least one person that reported a good transaction. The main issue (regardless of people's feelings about flippers or third party sellers) is that he's taking pictures off other people's sites for his advertising. Nobody has come forward with claims of getting ripped off, or being sent the wrong animal.
 
I just banned all three renditions of this person to be done with it. Until he registers anew, of course. But that will be banned as well in due time.
