    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Don't lose sight of the fact that this site is for the benefit of potential buyers, and anything that may shed light on the character of a potential seller should be considered. The plane crash was relevant here. Period. You are the guy who gave Fred a pretty strong endorsement for Fred's character after Fred's mock apology, and therefore you're contribution to this thread was to further mislead potential buyers into believing that Fred is a good guy. SO DON"T OVERLOOK YOU'RE CONTRIBUTION TO INFLAMING THIS THREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Your credibility is shot! But you at least, in a cowardly way, admitted that you were wrong.

Come on guys at this point I think everyone sees the truth. I do agree with him though we are king of kicking a dead horse. there are still a few skeptics about the plane crash. So again Ill ask where was the funeral?? If you can find it please qoute it here. Because if it was outside of CA comparing the IP address from Freds posts the day of the funeral to days or weeks prior or after the funeral will seal the fate about the plane crash. Becuase if the IP comes up the same or even from the same provider the day of the funeral I think that would be enough to solidly prove he went no where. I am sure one of those articles that had the date and time of the funeral also had the location. So since they were from the islands I am sure the funeral was in the islands.
 
Perhaps all should settle down a bit and wait and see what Fred does. I saw him on yesterday tho he didn't post he did write to one of the people he owes. Just a suggestion, but why not step back a bit and give it a few days?
Al, points have been proven here, we don't want people in search of who is good and who is bad to not find out about Fred simply because the thread is soooo long!

With all due respect, I was answering a question posed by Jason that is relevant to a claim made by Seamus that again questions the veracity of my posts. While I agree with you whole-heartedly, I feel that no one should be misled on this issue when "inquiring" about Fred. Some here still insinuate that I am in fact lying about that issue. But your right, those here with any common sense can see the truth. Fred is lying! Enough said.

How many posts were in reference to me and scrutinizing me or my point of view.. Would you have let those people scrutinize you without defending your stance. Let's be fair here.

Abaco is an Island in the Bahamas. I had no idea where Abaco or Marsh Harbour were to I did a search and this was the first thing I came up with http://www.diveabaco.com/ it is a diving resort in marsh Harbour, Abaco, Bahamas. So right there shows the funeral Fred has claimed to attend was in the Bahamas.

This was taken from a post dated Oct 13th 2002

Those are both the EXACT same Ip addresses taken from Posts 3 month apart. Considering as proven above the Funeral was in the Bahamas and the Ip address the day Fred claimed to have been attending his brothers funeral is the same from a random post I located through a search from 3 month prior. It proves he used the same computer for both posts. I don’t know about anyone else but I seriously doubt he was in the Bahamas for 3 months and I am sure the IP would probally match the emails recently sent to John or anyone else. Anyone is more then welcome to verify the info above. I think this should put the plane crash to rest! Now I agree with Ann I think we need to let this go and wait and see what happens with John. See Ya.

I see what your all saying now, and to answer someones question about if i would refer him to someone on the east coast I would have to say no. I have been scammed before and I didnt like it one bit and wouldnt wish it upon anyone. I only buy from people I know, bigger people in the hobby, and also from people I can meet. I would have to say if Fred had something I wanted I would possibly get it but then again that could be because I could pick it up, if I were somone that lived farther away(not in a reasonable driving distance) and read this thread wouldnt buy from him.
 
I dont want to start another round of 20 pages of flames, but at that risk I'll make a few statements.

First off, yes I did have to create a new account here for the purposes of posting on this thread. I did have an account here before, using my own name, but I've only posted here once or twice in years. Does that make me a "one thread wonder" ... sure, why not.

Tell Danni I said hello, and I hope you two are having a great life together. :) And just so you know it's me, there's still the matter of that "you owe me" from back before you two married :) ... but I'll never collect on that! lol

That being said ...

Events sometimes happen fast, in rapid succession. What I was trying to say, but obviously didnt get across, was that events happened, and the result was deals gone bad. I know he never intended to take anyone's money without delivering. But my knowing it doesnt do much for those who are without at this time.

All I can tell you, to those of you who have sent him money, is that he has been trying desperately to make things right, and will continue to do so.

Mr. Skipper's post that Fred has contacted him is a positive sign, and I hope that matter concludes soon.

To those who have chosen to attack me, my reputation, or my integrity because I spoke up on behalf of Fred, you've only proven my point of how low some of you can be. Speak to me not of "this business" as I have been involved in herps for years. As to my character, next month I will retire from the US Navy after 22 years of service, that speaks enough in itself. I know a thing or two about Honor.

Fred's intentions were honorable, and circumstances and some bad decisions ruined his plans, and he could not recover. It happens, even to the best of people. I am sure that he will resolve the outstanding business, and hopefully he may regain the trust and respect that he once enjoyed in this community.

Come on Paul at one point in time I know you used to be sensible buy. Just answer these couple questions for me and Ill leave it alone. What I provided on the prior page, do you beleive Fred made that story about the crash up to put people off? or do you think its real? Rember the funeral was one of the reasons why he couldnt ship. The funeral that was in the Bahamas. As shown that I welcome you to check for yourself the IP address used on the day of the funeral was the same he had been using months prior. So dont you think that is pretty low using someone elses death for his benifit? I am sorry dude but as far as I am concerned it takes one very sick person to do that, how much lower can a person really go?

How do you figure? He put John off for almost a year and in the mean time was spending money on animals for himself. Can you really say that is honorable??????

Paul I ask you to read my post above about the plane crash and IP addresses and let me hear your feelings. Also I ask you to go to page 31 of this thread and read Cheryls post at the very bottom of the page. The one were John asked Fred for his money back to take care of his daughter, of course Fred didnt, then a couple weeks later Fred is running wanted ads. It obvious he had money and wanted to spend it on himself. Please if you post again in this thread do not side track it. Lets hear your feelings about those two things. I dont want to hear anymore about how great Fred is or his (dis)honorable intentions. I want to know how YOU can justify those actions.So if you post again Paul please lets here you logic. In the mean time I hope to remain finished with this thread.

How you can come on here and use Fred's name and the word honorable in the same sentence speaks volumes about your character. At this point if you speak on behalf of Fred, your attacking your own self, reputation and integrity. To come on here and say that Fred's intentions were honorable is a blatant slap in the face to any and all of his victims. It's despicable! No offense, but I'm pretty sure the Navy doesn't associate the word "honorable" with "lying your pants off". I truely believe at this point that your posts are hurting Fred more than they are helping him. Let me remind you that Fred has lost NOTHING during this mess. Others have lost their hard earned money. The mere fact that you condone his actions as you so clearly stated on page 31 of this thread and bashed those who seek to protect others from getting hurt clearly shows your lack of compassion for the real victims here. Lastly, I didn't take any money from you and didn't lie to you, yet you refer to me in your post on page 31 as disgusting, smug, self righteous, back-stabbing, attention seeking and vile. Think of how Fred's victims must have felt for the last year.
 
I think everything that needs to be said, has been said in this thread. If anyone has anything substantial in the way of further information, please contact me and I will consider reopening this thread for further input. I see no need now for everyone to circle around the block to get another look at the car wreck.
