    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Fred Albury... BUYER BEWARE!!! BAD GUY!!!

The max pink Argentines that A. Cortez is selling are the same ones that Fred had. I was told that they were being brokered for Fred...if memory serves me correctly Fred dispised all brokers....
When the ads were first being run by Adriel Cortez they were being sold as '02s, but Fred's were '01s..when I informed Adriel of this the ads changed...weird...

Hope this helps clear up any confusion!

The BOI works!

I read every post in this thread, and I am pleased to see that the service provided by the BOI allowed a few individuals to reach some sort of closure. The importance of such a service is invaluable to the ever-increasing masses of herp lovers who have been wronged. Too many people are more concerned about the bottom line than integrity, honesty and the celebration of herp keeping.

Oh, the entertainment value of this board is priceless!!

Perhaps we should stick to business on this one. If you cross the line here and they lock this thread again, other yet unknown victims of Fred's "evil ways" will not have the opportunity to use this site as a vehicle to find satisfaction as the "known" victims have. I have as little respect for this scammer as you. That is exactly why I want this thread to stay alive. Let justice be served.
 
For anyone who has the ability or knowledge to do so, how about checking the IP Addy for the guy in Southern Cal who posted to ads on a different website today. Jason mentioned that Fred crawled out of the woodwork and I noticed about every few weeks that a "A. Cortez" posts the same animals that Fred was trying to sell last year and the year before.

I always thought it was Fred. Maybe a coinsidence, but Fred's company was Aztec Reptiles, now this other guy is posting under A. Cortez. The comon link I find are Indian name.

It appears that Freddy boy is up to his old tricks! He apparently assumed a fictitious identity on a forum at KS and then claimed to be someone else(Devin Price?). He has been posting under the user name sobek in the "Open Discussion forum. Anyone care to check and see if the IP matches that of his posts on the Indigo forum? As usual, he got called on it, and some of the posts were conveniently erased. This MO fits Fred to a tee. He likes to start trouble on the forums and then run to Forum abuse when the heat is on him.
 
Assuming false idenities is one more ploy in this con's "bag of tricks". Fortunately, he isn't very good at it. I won't go into detail, but I've just witness this chameleon's latest attempt at pretending he is someone else. The subject matter is irrelevant but the fact that this particular guy is currently interacting on snake forums as someone other than "Fred Albury" is worthy of mention. He has landed a few of his victims via snake forums, and people need to be alerted. The BOI serves as a nice resource to report on Fred's current alias's. Unsuspecting buyers can get real time updates and, fortunately, learn to avoid Fred like the plague. Unfortunately, Fred seems very committed to his deceptive ways depite the beating he's taken here. Some people never learn from their mistakes. Buyer beware of Fred Albury!

Not only that, but if you rearrange the letters of A. Cortez you can actually spell out the word Aztec.

Fred's deceptive ways are alive and well.....

so "buyer" CONTINUE TO BE "aware of Fred Albury". Whether he is hiding behind the name "A. Cortez", "sobek", or some other phony name not yet discovered, Fred has not put his deceptive ways behind him. Anyone considering buying animals via the internet must continue to be on guard for this chameleon. After approximately two months of denying that he was, in fact, "sobek" on the KS Open Discussion forum, a guy called "Kanuck" (someone on the same side of the "War in Iraq
" argument as Fred) finally put all suspicions to rest today on the forum. This revelation came after Fred privately emailed me to make the claim "sobek' couldn't possiblt be him because Fred Albury always stands behinds his beliefs.

I don't think that Fred disguising his identity on that forum is a big deal by itself, but I think that it is relevant here to show the contrast between the nice, helpful, gee, golly, gosh, good natured Fred as seen on the Indigo forum, and the real Fred as seen on the Open Discussion forum and the emails posted to this thread. He can turn on the charm in an instant if he is cultivating the Dr. Doolittle image to attract unsuspecting buyers, or he can be himself and bare his fangs as illustrated by "sobek", his alter ego. Fred tried his best to keep his real personality "sobek" from being known to the "Indigo" forum, where he pours on the charm to create his fascade for potential customers (victims).

Also, he recently bragged on the KS Indigo forum about how he's been doing FREE presentations, ALL YEAR LONG, for schools K-12th grade with exotic animals like birds of prey and sharks. This is, no doubt, an expensive proposition. Compare this scenario to the sob stories of poverty as told by Fred and Paul Spencer. unfortunately, deception is still Fred's middle name. Buter beware!

I think it is sad that he embarrasses his colleagues on the Indigo forum by soliciting their defense of him by lying to them, thus making them victims of his deceptions as well by implicating them as conspirators like he did with "Oldherper" on the Open Discussion forum. This is classic Fred. He gets others to do his dirty work for him and watches silently as they get "beat up". Fred will NEVER learn!
 
I find it interesting that Scotty gets attacked by Oldherper and Sobek yet neither of them are going after the source of the information(Kanuk). And why is Fred not defending himself (surely he'll jump in after reading this) on that forum? Smells fishy.
 
Well, it seems once again my posts in that thread have all been erased. KS doesn't seem to want to compromise certain people's credibility, which is what I did. Whenever Oldherper and Fred hit a dead-end, they tuck tail and run right to the "forum abuse" button. This just shows how threatened they are by the exposure of the truth! Come on Oldherper, Sobek and Fred! Let's chat here. I've printed out those posts so there will be no back-peddling. Let's lay the cards on the table.
 
Fred is doing exactly what he did.......

here on this thread when he was first exposed. He is attempting to discredit those who have exposed him by emailing anyone who might post on his behalve. He lives with his finger on that "forum abuse" button, hoping that the cold hard truth will be eliminated along with our posts.

It's interesting to see that neither Fred Albury, "sobek" (Fred Albury), or "oldherper" have challenged "kanuck" directly on this simple matter. Anyway, the truth is obvious. Fred is trying hard, hitting his favorite button, to eliminate any post that compromises that nice guy image that he continues to promote on the Indigo forum. Does Fred Albury have the courage to go directly to the Open Discussion forum and challenge "kanuck" on the matter? I seriously doubt it.
