    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

First off let me say I have never dealt with Fred Albury. A few weeks ago I inquired about a female argentine boa that was up for sale by Mr. Cortez. Fred Albury replied very politely to my e-mail stating it was his boa ("747") that was still up for sale and that Mr. cortez was selling it for him.

Obviously you care or you wouldn't be posting here. It's no secret that you hob-nob with the country club (Indigo forum), thus having to defend anyone affiliated with them. I think it's great that you step up to bat for someone like Fred. It says alot (or little) about your character. Perhaps you think we should sweep his deceptive behavior under the rug. I don't agree. I think people need to be kept abreast of his activity in the hope that no one will ever have to fall victim to this con man again! By the way, it was Fred (Sobek) who has been pursuing us in the Open Discussion forum, not the other way around. We treated him the same way we treated all of the Anti-Americans in that forum. His posts were a disgrace and an embarrassment to this great country. He should be ashamed. That is why he so dilligently tried to keep his real identity a secret. We didn't even know it was him at first. His grammar gave him away, lol. After all the lies he has told, he's in way too deep to admit anything at this point. So maybe you should ask Fred, I mean Sobek, why he was foolish enough to pursue us. Is he a glutton for punishment or what? In any case, your only recourse, just like the rest of your posse, is to try to defame us with petty accusations to divert the attention from your boy. When it comes to your buddies, the truth is obviouisly irrelevant.

I've provided an example of how Fred is currently operating under a name that isn't his own. Fred happens to be someone who sells snakes and steals money. As a friend of Freds, you, Chris have nothing to worry about, but after seeing how Fred treated people as illustrated in this thread I guarantee that others would like a 'heads up" on whether or not Fred may be the real guy behind the name they are about to deal with. If he's still being deceptive, the I see no reason why it shouldn't be noted in this thread.

Never gave a thought to it. It could have very well been that a Mr. Cortez had actually put up the snake for sale. My only surprise was that Mr. Cortez himself didn't reply to my e-mail but it was Fred Albury. But I guess thata can happen too.

It was verified that this cortez person is a real person before and I dont doubt that in the slighest. However asociating with a slugger like Fred(one more and YOUR OUT OF HERE!) and selling his pink puking boas for him I think is a very bad choice on his part.

Fred, what stops you from posting to this thread to "clear the air"?

You've obviously convinced "kanuck" to change his absolute stance on you and "sobek" being the same guy ("it was definitely Fred") to his interesting declaration that "I assumed, perhaps wrongly, that sobek was Fred". You have, no doubt, been working hard behind the scenes on minimizing the damage that your Canadian buddy may have caused you. What stops you from coming on here to set the record straight by answering the following simple questions?

Why wouldn't you "Fred Albury" respond directly on the Open Discussion forum to either "sobek" or "kanuck"? After all, there
was much "speculation" that you and "sobek" were one in the same. As "kanuck" so eloquently stated yesterday, "Don't know why he doesn't stand up and say who he is", I'm wondering the same thing.

You've obviously coaxed "kanuck" to make a revised statement on your behalve, why don't you get "sobek" to come on here to answer some simple questions?

How about coming out in the open for a change Fred?

You assume too much. No one contacted me regarding my post. I stated what I did because I no longer have the e-mail, therefore I have no proof one way or the other. Without proof to back it up my statements are just hearsay. Do i believe that Fred and Sobek are one and the same. Yes, but without anything to back it up that's just my opinion. And that's not worth much because this is the internet, and anyone can make any wild allegation they want while hiding behind a computer. Am I defending Fred. No. I've read enough to want to stay clear. But, and I feel I must emphasize this, I have no proof to show to back up what I said yesterday, so I retracted it.

boi members,just a little concerned about all this.i've been into exotic birds for most of my life.just recently became interested in reptiles,or i should say just recently became serious about reptiles.i,ve always had a few boas just for fun.never got involved in the reptile world until recently.well i come in thinking these are people just like me.i start hearing all these horror stories about Dave this and Neil that.i live in the tampa area.i hear numerous other horror stories about people i can't remember.after reading these posts i have really become sickened.all thes so called experts and senior members seemed to really be ganging up on Chris and Albert.Al got banned and then reinstated.these were the only guys that made an once of sense while reading this.they may have rambled a little more than they should have.never did i read anything that should have banned him.maybe a warning to chill out and give someone else a chance.are there any respectable people in the reptile world.could the experts please tell me.fred i just hope you mess up enough to where you get the prison time you deserve.i have 20 chondros and i'm going to my first reptile show next week.should i take them with me and try and get rid of them.cut my losses while i still can.i think i may stick to birds.

Thanks for those sensible words. It's nice to see some people still can differentiate right from wrong. I think there are definitely some great people in this business, but not as many as I thought when I started reading some of the sites and buying herps. I think you should keep your snakes and buy more, lol. Just call on the BOI before buying from someone you don't know. I don't put alot of stock in some of the so-called "big guns". I prefer to buy from the "little guys".
 
I posted on KS with an invitation for Sobek and Fred to come onto the BOI to clear this up once and for all. Suprisingly, Sobek had that post knocked off immediately, lol. In any case, I hope they will both come here in the hope that someone can check to see if Sobek is in fact Devin Price from Little Rock Arkansas as he claimed on KS, or Fred Albury from San Diego. Come on fellas. Knowing how badly you want to prove me wrong, you should be jumping on this opportunity. Let's rock!

I don't believe that Fred Albury is "sobek" and here is why:

If you check the KS open forum, you will see that sobek posted on the 17th, 18th and 19th.
These posts are time stamped in military time....EASTERN TIME.
Fred was at the SD IRBA show helping Renegade Friday...the 17th, Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th.

I know, I was there and saw him at those times and even spoke with him.


Now, unless you two have anything new to add, go wag your tongues over the back fence instead of here.

If I knew that Fred had such an air-tight alibi, I never would have pursued this. After all you 'even spoke to him"! I guess Fred also told you his every move that day? I guess he couldn't possibly have had a laptop with him, maybe not in view? Maybe he snuck in the bathroom that day (behind your back) and posted without telling you. Give me a break! Your post smells of Fred's usual lame attempts to solicit friends to take part in his damage control. At least you are a good friend!

Once again another mysterious defender of Fred shows up, yet still no Fred, Sobek or Devin P. Wendy, did you just find out about this thread or have you been observing this all along? Just curious.
