    In short, DON'T! Email notices are to ONLY alert you of a reply to your private message or your ad on this site. Replying to the email just wastes your time as it goes NOWHERE, and probably pisses off the person you thought you replied to when they think you just ignored them. So instead of complaining to me about your messages not being replied to from this site via email, please READ that email notice that plainly states what you need to do in order to reply to who you are trying to converse with.

    Google Adsense ad revenue for December, 2025 was just $30 over the cost of the lease for the server running this site. So, in effect, the money providing the incentive for me to continue running this site is coming SOLELY from the paid memberships and sponsorships here. Which honestly ain't much....

Bad Guy gahnns Crickets

I dont even know why people act like this...I could understand if pay pal said they RECIEVED the money,but they claimed they didnt and wanted to bill you twice..But come on man,they never recieved it the first time...That wasnt their fault..I wouldnt eat shipping charges on that either..Like someone else said,waiting til the last minute is chancey..You really need to except this and grow up...Dont you feel like your animals are woth the extra shipping so they could eat?..They couldnt order their own food...If I were them,I would never sell to you again plain and simple....They did not deserve this thread,and now its gonna be here forever cause of you..But when people read it they will see how you act,and I dont see this hurting their businness...

I'm with you 95% but I DO see this hurting there business. Some people might just run a search of the BOI, see the bad guy thread and not read it. Those people then think that this company does wrong by people and won't order.
 
I do a lot of business with Ghanns (seems I spend a small house payment with them every month LOL) and they are the best cricket company I have ever used and if any problems do occur they are quick to fix them.

I have been a customer of theirs for about a year now. I just recently quit buying crix but only because my roach population finally took off. For the year that I was using them, I would place an order monthly for 10,000 crickets at a time.

Tammy was always friendly and helpfull to me. I placed my orders with her directly each time.


Shannen.... you definitly jumped the gun on this one. Maybe this has already been answered and I just missed it. Did you get a confirmation email from paypal? If not... that should have been your first clue something was wrong.
 
First off, I hight a bad guy rep would be a lil extreme.

You shoulda re-read what you wrote, and hit the back button at that point. :yesnod: Continuing only made it look like things didn't go your way, so you're retaliating.

I haven't read anything that makes them worthy of there very own bad guy thread. Actually, it would seem the mistakes were not there's at all, but paypals by YOUR very own words. :shrug01:
 
I always have tried to stay out of these things but this one is so over the top. Ghann's is the BEST company I have ever had the pleasure of doing consistent business with. Their quality and service are really second to none in the marketplace.

I sure wish people would use spellcheck around here.

Next time have a back up in place before you have a feeder emergency, so you don't need to embarrass yourself with a thread like this one.

OK a lot of posts have been made and I will try to touch on some of them.

Fact! they saw my initial order, This is according to Tammy, she said the paypal didn't go through. This is how I found out about the problem. A simple email from them would have solved all of this. She claims they did send an email, yet I never got any email from them notifying me of a problem. Nor did any email ever show up in my spam folder (that is turned off BTW)

Second. how is reporting my bad experience making me look like a peeved off lil child. I'm mad in the fact that it tool 2-3 phone calls to Tammy to even get them shipped out today.

As far as you pro Gahhns supporters, good for you, I'm glad you have had good results. Until this point I was one of you. But how this was handled on their end is BS.

So for those of you who think I'm wrong here....keep sticking your head in the mud. and I will pray for you to never have to deal with such a situation, and god forbid you should come here to allow others to express their opinions.

And as far as some of my posts not making sence..well I was angry and typing fast, and this BOI doesn't have an edit btn that I am aware of.

Ok Shannen, seriously, do not do that.....a better way to handle this is to accept the shipment and down the road, if you decide to order with them again, call Tammy personally to appologize that this situation got way out of hand and I think you may get some freebies.

In the past I get and email showing me shipping was underway. It was 2 days and still no email from them. So what else was I to do,,,wait 2 more days o talk to them on Monday...And eve after all is said and done, here it is after 9PM on Friday and I have yet to receive an email.

Like I said all my transactions thus far have been great, but how they handled his one, was done so in a very poor poor fashion.

Calling them BAD GUYS cuz you didn't recieve the order that you didn't pay for. Even if you thought you had, even you admitted that it didn't go through. You have no basis for labeling them like that. And that makes you look like you're being vengeful.

Or if you have some other preferential language, I'll certainly translate it for you. :shrug01:

Fact! If what you say is true... then they did their part. For all they knew... you had found feeders elsewhere. Why is it their job to track you down. They contacted you.

Maybe it was handled the way it was because of YOU. If you started slamming on Tammy the way you are now... You wouldnt have gotten much help from me either. If you have a problem... we can talk about it like adults, but if you want to go all childish and throw a tantrum... there is no need to talk because it wont do any good.

Here is the biggest thing. You didnt get a email from Paypal saying that you had sent payment.
Which means that no money was sent...........
Which means it was your fault for not checking to see what was going on that day..............
Which means that this bad guy post is unwarranted and you are just being a crying child.

You need someone to blame for your unhappyness and instead of being an adult and realizing it was a issue between you and paypal. and had nothing to do with Ghann's, you choose to blame Ghann's who never received payment from you. Its not their job to track you down about money so they can send you a product.

UGH!!!! My beef is with how rude Tammy (it took several calls just to get her off her ars to try andfind someone to help pack my order) was unwilling to help. Granted they didn't get the payment. AGAIN AGAIN and AGAIN if you freaking people can read AN EMAIL from THEM would have solved all of this I have no more to say on the subject, other than I wish some of you would learn how to read, instead of skimming and then jumping to conclusions.

Some pot shots have been made at me...so nows you turn. If you ever got past the second grade, and could actually read, perhaps you would see where I am coming from!

How bout calling them and politely asking about the status of your order. You yourself stated the payment didnt go thru because of something that happend on paypal's end. How is that their fault.

They never recieved payment so of course they are not going to ship out XXX number of crix. Sure... you may have placed an order, but until payment is received... the order is not complete.

Mistakes happen, but if you blow up and get an attitude with the person trying to help you... your not going to get anywhere. Your just going to make it worse.

Keep in mind... they have the right just to refund your money and your still out looking for feeders. How is that helping your cause.

Lol we can all read. And we are pretty much all making the same statement. It was not their job to contact you about why they had not received your money. It is your job and your job alone to follow up on that if you do not get notification within a few hours. How hard is that to understand. That is basically online purchasing 101.:thumbsup:
