Deborah - I'm not willing to link to the thread at this time, as I deleted it because it was not really appropriate as a BOI thread....the comments that person made to me via PM seemed to suggest some fairly BOI relevant things, however. I was hoping the person would add those comments here (well - half hoping, initially...but given some of the recent posts, it might give some people something to think about). I do feel it is his choice whether or not to reveal the details.

Can't we let this issue die. He has had two bad deals. That went south. One had to do with a kink in the tail. From what I read he emailed and called the Guy as soon as he realized it. Next was a Mis-sex and weight. Even that it was resolved. To me fraud and theft would have NOT return any money or any Snake or communication. Not anyone here posting can honestly say they have NOT made a mistake with herps. Please let this die. Maybe he wants to prove he can make this right or to learn from this. Quit be so self righteous and judgemental and let people try to move on. He obviously had allot of people who has done good deals with him. But as soon as they stick up for him people want to jump on them and try to convert them. Let it Die..

There was more in this thread. I think the deceptive ads with different lineage in each ad for the same snake is a issue as well.

There have been a few people that have stated the original topic has gone on long enough and to end this, Well, BOI threads aren't just for one incident and there have been several pointed out in this thread.

I'm all for people stating their positive experiences without being attacked but for everyone alluding back to the first topic in this thread stating it is over while not acknowledging the other issues this thread brought forward also does a disservice to the information available here.

So you think making up genetics on a snake is not FRAUD? If it were not for these so called "self righteous" fauna members I would have had a "lemon blast axanthic" shoved up my.... well you get where I'm going there.. but point is that michaels missrepresentation of genetics would have cost me a few grand and would not have been what Michael told me it was or what I PAID for. Take some deep breaths and go read some bad guy threads then you will start to see why some of us are going to toss CERTAIN people under a microscope, and keep them there. Having a few good sales mean nothing...

Actually if you go and look back a few pages you will see that when this thread got "bumped" back to the top it was someone saying how much of a great experience he had dealing with me. But of course nobody sees that because everyone must bring up whats already brought up and completely hide the good comments pages back.

Yea two people have had an "issue" which all were resolved! What about the 55+ other sales that went smoothly. Means nothing??? Well guess when I have 100+ sales under my belt I'll get back to you and see if that means something!

And if you look at his post VERY carefully. He was not NOT being nice.
He was just stating a simple fact that you misrepresented a snake and it almost cost him. Show me where in his post he was not being nice. You know sometimes the truth is not nice.

Don't forget the attempt to repeatedly decieve people in regards to the true genetics of your snake. You know what you were told when you bought it. But once you tried to sell it, how many times did the genetics change?

I know this post is probably going to earn me some negative karma, but before you thumb me down in a reflex emotional response please realize that I'm am commenting as an observer to this BOI thread (and others) and not as one who has had any dealings with Michael.

There is enough information now presented about Michael for people to make their own opinions on being willing or unwilling to do business with him. I feel that repeating the same information and arguments over and over again is beating a dead horse. I know that people have been burned or nearly so, but the information is already here in this BOI thread (which is already over 14 pages long on my screen). Anyone who knows of the BOI will see the length of the thread and understand that a long thread typically implies a great deal of controversy regarding the seller. There really is no need for the peanut gallery to continue adding their own posts about their opinions of the seller unless they have directly had business transactions with the seller and have new information to bring to the table.

Please, do your readership a favor and refrain from making superfluous posts unless you have had personal dealings with the seller. His history speaks for itself, for better or for worse.

You can come back when you've done 1000+ "good transactions" and say hey I've done a thousand good transactions, what do you have to say about me now... you know what I'm gonna say? You KNOWINGLY miss represented that pins genetics.... period. You still have never explained that, why not? Cause you know you were scamming. And yes I'm nice to all of my customers had I not had bills up to my ears at the I probably would have told you the vanilla ghost wasn't available to you. Was I happy to sell him to you? Yes. Do I KNOW you screwed with the genetics on an animal.. yes, we all do. That's going to haunt you FOREVER in this industry.

I was not aware of this thread when i purchased from genefreak until after I had sent payment for a female superpastel baby. He advertised the baby as 70g and healthy. Upon sending the snake he changed the original post removing any mention of weight. When i recieved the female she weighed a messley 35!!!! Yes 35!! Gram, and was infested with mites. I have no proof of my statments, but just wanted to say he definately is misrepresenting snakes based on my history.

In his defense when i complained he offered me a full refund, and apologized. Just thought this should be said here in this thread.

I kept the snake, am happy with her, bui am unsure of whether to trust the statments made by the sller of her genetics.

It is not "just" two bad deals, but the way at least my deal went sour. I have posted what happened enough times, but to get to the point in the deal where I was about to send money, after an hour or so on the phone, only to receive a "by the way, one is kinked" email, and when I asked which one was kinked, to receive another email stating both had issues, is unacceptable. I find in impossible to believe that during the entire hour or so on the phone, he had no idea that the snakes were flawed. Either you knew, or you should have known.

Just to add another transaction to the fray- I just bought a young adult lesser girl from Michael. She looked okay and was a good price, so I took the risk. He was really quick to respond, transaction went smooth as silk and she's here now. I'll be quarantining her like I do everyone else but she doesn't seem to have any mites, kinks, or other issues.
