Hey lubinsky is it just / maybe / possibly a COINCIDENCE that the male Mack I sent you was the one in the same as the one poe had been after for almost a month ??? deja vu ?? cowinky dinky ?

poe had been after that particular animal for just about a month and you ended up with it after repeated attempts by poe to purchase it and was declined.

WOW..this post has really grown since the last time i looked (this morning haha)...

all i have are a few thoughts...

1. i definately applaud alex's efforts for being selective about who he sells the mack snows to. its just not about "protecting the project" or investment, but also showing true insight on alex's character- hes not just here to buy and sell for the quick buck. i too have refused to sell high end top dollar animals to certain individuals, yet at the same time i'll let a very nice animal go at reduced prices if i know its going to a good person (who doesnt annoy me haha)? one of the major reasons why i dont sell publicly as much as i used to...just too much trouble/hassle sometimes?....hmm.. i wonder if alex would have sold me a mack snow if i inquired about them? =P

2. dan poe...NOBODY WILL SELL ANYTHING TO YOU NOW. NOBODY WILL BUY ANYTHING FROM YOU NOW. unless, of course its at rock bottom flea market prices and even then u might have to get lucky? why?...because who wants "aptors" or "mack snow" leos THAT COME WITH FREE AMOEBAS? i sure dont and i dont think anyone else does either...

Me too!

Alex is the BEST and helped me when I first got started with all of my stupid questions! He is my all time favorite breeder and has always been super honest with me with I asked him about anything, be it leos to ball pythons.

I just hate that someone has snaked Alex, went behind his back and done all of this!

Excuse me? If you are referring to the male red stripe I got from you in Daytona, I did sell it to Chris because I liked the JMG male better. Yours was pretty too, and I think I sold it for $200 maybe? $250?

If I remember right, you did get a very pretty tangerine female with a dorsal stripe from me. She probably was priced lower than $200 but that doesn't mean she was worth less than that.

Why are you even bringing that up? It has nothing to do with this situation I don't think. Yeah, I did resell the male I got from you but it was months later, not 4 days after I got it for crying out loud.

Dan P. Exaclty why would you want to undercut fellow (or non fellow) breeders and ruin the "said specimens"??? What is the point of that? You would obviously have alot ( and now do) of angry people on you.

Whats more angry people to him? Seems like he is going to have a hate club for him soon....

First Dan P. What you did was dispicable, You KNEW good and well you could not get a snow, What did you do? Acted like a lil kid stomped your feet then got a 3rd party involved to do your "dirty work". Now the 3rd party wound up getting a tarnished rep, because of being associated with you. Now i now why you never showed the picture of your snow, because you knew alex would find out that you still "got your way".

Not to mention you killed any biz at all by admitting the leo was disease free on arrival, but got sick after you put it with your females.......

Second Dan L. I don't know if you knew or not, but your probably going to regret this little mistake you made. I'm sure alot of others here are going to give you the "poe" treatment from now on.... I'm not saying it will happen, but people might be worried your posing for dan again.

Just reread your post and saw that. Yes, I did plan on using him as my breeder redstripe, but like I said I got to the Daytona show and bought a male from JMG for $100. I kept both of them for a few months to see which one I liked better. I liked the JMG male better because his stripe was more bold. So I kept him and sold the male I got from you. That is different than me getting it from you and then reselling it a few days later.

Oh, and what you quoted up there is NOT something I would ever say lol.

Some amoebas are very serious and highly contagious. Some collections have been wiped out by amoebas. I'm curious, what medicine did the vet give you to treat it?

if that statement read like it does, that would mean poe might've sold/gave the Mack snow to someone else after he had it in with his females and after lubinsky had it in with his females, that would mean that whoever may have ended up with the Mack snow (if poe sold it or gave it to someone else) will now more than likely spread amoebas to their collection.

Kelli, was there any agreement about resale of the leo you bought from Dan???? I doubt it...... As far as I see it, you could have sold that leo 2 seconds after it was in your hands and it would not matter..... This "Mack" situation is a totaly different story with different circumstances...... These were protected projects that involved dedicated breeders..... This is one instance where I am totaly on the breeders side of things..... (the other thread on Macks kinda changed my views on this awesome project) Alex went to great lengths to make sure the right people got the animals and he was kicked in the sack...... And this is coming from a person that is not even working with snows..... Yet that is...... I have an interest but it is not vested like the other breeders here.... My interest is from an onlookers point at this time..... I realy feel for you guys...... You know what I say????? The reputable breeder WILL come out on top and I hope you guys do......

i just realize , im new and need something really nice and something new !the Snows and APTORs fit that category and i like them alot , which is of most importance to me .

if i liked something else that had popped up i might have went a different way .

im not going to get very far by just breeding some tangs .

of course there would be no reason for competition or worry about someone else overproducing or underselling you , if you werent generally pissing people off by not selling to them . i may or may not be one of them .

Glad the project means the world to you, but what good is it to posses a bunch of leopard gecko's that no one will buy from you, because they value their collection?

give me a break . Alex didnt sell to me because he was unhappy with my e-mail , after he just simply did not give me enough info on the pricing AND age .

so, i had alot of questions and he came back w/ his snotty egotistical attitude and made an ASSumption (like many of you ) .

i do not take that from anyone . i told him i was not happy with it , and he had something to hold over my head and did .
end of story .

you are all reading into my posts and e-mails too much .

there is nothing that i will do or would do to hurt the market , this that or the other project .

it is simply not going to happen .

sound like a bunch of greedy bastards .

a good majority of us here , do not sell at "market value" anyways .

FYI we work on a small level here , and even if my pricing would be lower it would not effect your pocketbook .

as anyone can clearly see what this is all about . $$$
